Also, don't underestimate how important this game is to IU/fans/Cig. When you're undefeated and angling for a high seed/bye, and IUFB, none of these games should be underestimated. It's not like after two seasons we're Georgia. No game or opponent should be taken lightly. Should we expect 66-0? Probably not. But there is no reason PU should be in this game by the 4th quarter.

It actually does mean something now though. Don't take care of business, and by business I mean drill the teams you're supposed to and play well against the others and you move up and solidify yourself ie exactly what Woody and Archie never did, so we were always scratching and crawling to get into the tournament. Some teams that didn't look so great dropped considerably after one game: UCLA 12 to 20 MSU 25 to 34 OSU 27 to 36 PSU 95 to 103 It's important to blow out these lower teams and hang with highly ranked teams. Kenpom is normally the best indicator of who's in, and who's got work to do.

I live in Chicago and not far from the UC, and no there are not a lot of bars in the vicinity of it. But if you want to watch early an early game like the Colts, my guess is Cleo's on Chicago Ave, would have it on. It's a 10 minute walk from the UC, has decent food, and is a soccer bar so on the weekends they open early for premier league games. https://www.cleospub.com/ Might be worth checking in with them. Hiring coaches because they played or went to school or are from the town etc is not a winning strategy and has been proven over and over and over. Hire the best coach interested in the job.
