I like it.

I understand that. My point is the extra money is never used to lower costs for the fans to attend, if anything, it's the opposite.
-
Fans never see the benefit of the owners/teams/schools making more money besides upgrades in facilities. Prices will still go up until fans don't show up. There is never a trickle down effect.

(2026) - Emily McDonald to Kentucky

She's now dead to us. -
Once again this all leads me to believe he's looking for a specific amount of $. You can't tell me not one team wouldn't have taken a flyer on him for the veteran's minimum which for him would be like 3.6M. But maybe teams don't trust that he can play a full season.

I hadn't even seen that last score until after I posted. You could tell PSU finally woke up.
-
PSU will most likely end up winning this by a couple of scores the way it's going now.
-
Pretty sure after OSU last year, he said he would never do it again.

F*ck Michigan. They have many built in advantages and still had to cheat.

I am a Fife "fan" but at this point, what is the point (hence why he deleted his post too). Woody's obvious flaws caught up with him. He made out with a nice payday though. It is interesting to hear the stories from both sides. Woody's issues were fairly obvious, but Fife seems to have done some weird stuff too.
-
I don't disagree with this at all. There were many reasons why he got fired, including some in state recruiting gaffes, but DD doesn't seem like he's going to myopically focus on Indiana. That doesn't mean he shouldn't be finding and offering guys that both Archie and Woody didn't or wouldn't recruit, it also doesn't mean it won't be his main focus (which it should be), but he seems more inclined to find guys from anywhere and everywhere.
-
Because they're going to get drilled :)
-
People complained about his recruiting tactics for sure.
-
I agree 100% but it's better to win these than lose them and like what was mentioned, the style of play seems more aligned to what fans including myself have been looking for ie energy and competitiveness. He seems like he knows what he is doing but way too early to tell. A friend of a friend who was at the games in PR said "...You're going to love the way we play this season...". Another one of my friends said "It is funny, D-Rock's coaching philosophy seems to be more like Crean's. Everybody thinks it is great but they didn't like Crean when all he got was a bunch of NBA guys and no in state recruits. It is just kind of ironic. Part of "modern basketball" is high major programs recruit nationally and internationally. Don't complain when we miss out of the 2 or 3 in state 5 stars." Recruiting will be interesting considering his main guy is the same main guy as Crean's.
