Cal has whiffed on 4 straight recruits so now he's all over Keion as a last resort I've heard. Again I still think we're in the drivers seat thanks to TJD, Armaan, and Keion being so close and Keion being made a priority instead of a last resort. For your weekend amusement, I was just told by someone who has close ties to one of our recruits that Alford was at one of our practices this past week and was invited by Archie and Schilling. He says he thinks something could be in the works to bring him on board. Again, just relaying what I was told from someone who has been pretty accurate with a particular recruit's recruitment....I myself took it with a grain of salt though and just kind of laughed at the thought of it. I think you're right...he is going to really surprise a lot of people next year and have a special career. He has taken his game to another level this season and I definitely for one wasn't sold on him until I personally got to watch him a few times this year. I don't know about you guys but I won't watch another IU game the rest of the season. In fact I haven't watched a single minute of the last 6 games...I just won't subject myself to watch the garbage play of this team. I keep checking the score after I know the game has ended and just hope they win game and it always ends in disappointment. I'm done with that now too. Now with Vic out and the Pacers looking like hot garbage without him there's nothing to look forward to until the Colts start back up and the NFL season isn't even over yet. IMO Leal is a can't miss for IU. He's a Bloomington native who wants to play here and can shoot. He seems like a smart kid who will give his all and understand what it means to rep the candy stripes and Indiana across your chest ...a lot like our last recruit from Bloomington South and he turned out pretty decent. This. I was at the game last night and LN had a great game plan against TJD and double/triple teamed him as soon as he touched the ball. CG's guards were struggling to even get a look inside to him to start with. As "bad" as a game as he had last night he had 17, 15, and 6 blocks.
