I guess my expectation is to have heard of some higher caliber players we are showing interest in from the portal. Haven't really seen that yet. To be clear I think we got a good coach and believe we will be improved. At the same time, as of now, I have a little concern with the level of talent we are trying to get. Both things can be true. From what I've gathered the RPO is not "his" offense. He'll tailor the offense to his players (QB). Also RPO's were a part of their offense last year but not as much as you might think. I don't think you'll see the NFL be influenced by collegiate players decisions to stay an additional year. The inherent risk is 100% on the players and if they don't get injured they'll still be there the next year. If they get hurt then an NFL franchise just saved themselves $. Definitely fine with his staff. Also fine with some players from JMU as well. Can't be all SBC players that he brings in though. And my biggest concern is McCloud being our starter next year.
