There's ?'s but I think 7-0 is possible if I'm being naively optimistic. I'll say this is as good of a schedule as CCC could hope for to try and build momentum. Gotta go out and get things done though of course. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

I guess my expectation is to have heard of some higher caliber players we are showing interest in from the portal. Haven't really seen that yet. To be clear I think we got a good coach and believe we will be improved. At the same time, as of now, I have a little concern with the level of talent we are trying to get. Both things can be true. There is plenty of time to get better players and I'm not arguing that either. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

I won't disagree with that but there are portal opportunities and more NIL$ to play with. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

Not 100% convinced they would have whipped our behinds. They beat 3-9 Virginia by one point and honestly probably should've lost that game. Allen would've fumbled it away, no doubt, but to act like they were superior to IU in talent is absolutely not the case. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -

I'm getting a little worried that every transfer/recruit we're getting is a JMU player/offer. I'm fine with some of the roster being made up with this caliber player but we're going to need some B1G level players as well. I just don't see a SBC roster competing in the B1G. (2024) QB Alberto Mendoza to Indiana

He committed to IU. Not sure why it hasn't been mentioned or my feed is doing some dumb stuff. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -
As soon as Ellison entered the portal CCC was following him. It was a day or two before he was announced coach. Guessing this is a player he really liked. So I guess I'm glad he got someone he really wanted. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

From what I've gathered the RPO is not "his" offense. He'll tailor the offense to his players (QB). Also RPO's were a part of their offense last year but not as much as you might think. Read option running game absolutely was their style which would likely need to look completely different with Rourke Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Great start. Lousy since Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk -
I don't think you'll see the NFL be influenced by collegiate players decisions to stay an additional year. The inherent risk is 100% on the players and if they don't get injured they'll still be there the next year. If they get hurt then an NFL franchise just saved themselves $. Players would be making a bad business decision to stay if their draft stock is as high as it can be, i.e. Harrison. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Seems like missed opportunity doesn't it? If he had better records against those teams we would have, most likely, had better seeds in each of last 2 tournaments and at that point the matchups could've been better. I realize this is 'woulda, coulda, shoulda. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Also at this game. 50 yard line 2nd row. Best seats I've ever had for anything. Howard was a beast and our DB's were historically awful. Great game Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

I'd rather leave the court alone. Although I saw a similar concept for end zones of football field and loved it. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

I'd also be just fine using indiana script in place of the bloomington Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Just speaking on the jersey: love the top but would add the candy stripes to neck line. I agree about liking the state flag but also agree it doesn't seem to "fit". It may just be that it's too large? I actually really like this uni overall as an alternate Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

Definitely fine with his staff. Also fine with some players from JMU as well. Can't be all SBC players that he brings in though. And my biggest concern is McCloud being our starter next year. Really thought we could do better. Hopefully it will work out and I'll eat crow. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk

So pretty much what you said from the jump. Now, how do we find out who was in charge of the game? I'm assuming as@coonhounds said with IU logo in center court that IU put it on but who knows? Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
