  1. I struggle with Number 1 a lot. Phone calls now being allowed and seeing all these other universities like Louisville stick with their coaches for far worse infractions makes the struggle worse. What could've been? Most likely Final Fours and a good chance at a National Championship. With that said - 11 years later - I think Archie is our guy.
  2. Gotcha - I thought he was a sophomore
  3. But Brunk would not be able to play next year... Am I missin g something?
  4. True - that would be great. Would it be greedy of me if I wanted the greatness to extend through Sunday?
  5. Lets hope so. That would be a great 3 days
  6. How else would he fly? Also school would pay for recruiting trips
  7. I would guess the same. I don’t think brooks has Archie leaving Chicago just to say no....
  8. Snow says pick is still UK but that TJD really confident it's IU....
  9. A lot of people including "insiders" thought Garland was going to Indiana. I remember it very well...it wasn't till the morning of his announcement that things began to sway heavily towards Vandy. Also, as someone mentioned...Rabjohns wouldn't have traveled hours for announcement if he thought the choice was anything but Indiana. Also, if memory serves me well - wasn't Rabjohns disappointed after the announcement? -- he felt as though he was dragged along by the Garlands?
  10. He's certainly not a priority to the fans....Lets not forget also that UK fans were literally tweeting Brooks that they didn't want him in Lexington
  11. I have no reason to believe we will win. minny - 60 Us - 49
  12. He was offered by Sampson. Wasn't going to be a walk - on. I saw the kid play against Xavier earlier this year up close. He needs to get bigger and put on weight - but he's not afraid to shoot and take over the game...he's a good player.
  13. Corey Evans just said the other day that: Stewart is expected to make a commitment before February rolls around. This is more of a three-horse battle between Duke, Kentucky and Washington. No mention of MSU - I suppose things could always change tho
  14. We really should consider having Romeo take the ball up half the time. Green just needs to stay out the way on offense - maybe knock down a 3, and play defense
  15. As expected. I assume he’ll continue to get better during break and hope he and everyone else takes the opportunity to rest up and come back better than ever
  16. Trevor Lawrence (Clemson Qb) was on concussion protocol earlier this year. He was on it for two days and played the following week. It all depends on symptoms. Regardless, rob has a good time to rest with it being break, and wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him play against Illinois
  17. Yup. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and he can move through protocol relatively quickly.
  18. Rumors are afloat that Stewart would consider joining the class as he's friends with all these guys?
  19. Rabjohns is right - Unfortunately McRobbie doesn't care about athletics
  20. Let's face it. De'Ron is running out of time and is probably never going to turn into the monster we thought he would be (mainly cause of injuries), but at this point, we may want to look at starting De'Ron over Smith. Smith absolutely sh*its his pants in big games
  21. At this point TJD would be a sure starter over Justin Smith
  22. I thought he canceled his visit to MSU
  23. I attended IU from '07-'11 so my graduating class witnessed the worst 4 year basketball winning percentage out of any graduating class - unless you graduated in 3 years from '08-'11. If I recall correctly, Ellis and Thomas were asked not to come back, Eric Gordon left for the NBA, DJ white left for the NBA (he had a year left of eligibility due to a medical red shirt) and people like Jordan Crawford simply transferred out. Also, if you recall, we had a helluva a recruiting class coming in -- which included Tu Hollewell -- who decided to open up his recruitment and ultimately chose Xavier to team up with Crawford and Devin Ebanks who also chose not to come to IU and ultimately signed with West Virginia...however Pritchard and Elston (both committed under Sampson) came to IU. Yes - imo Crean milked this process and was excellent in buying time with his savvy pr. This is all speculation, but I have a hunch that if Archie Miller occurred 10 years ago we wouldn't have seen the mass exodus or incoming recruits going elsewhere (after all Archie was able to keep Crean's last recruiting class all in place) like we did with Crean and that our rebuilding job would've been much quicker. Imo, i think a lot of it was self-inflicted.
