  1. As expected. I assume he’ll continue to get better during break and hope he and everyone else takes the opportunity to rest up and come back better than ever
  2. Trevor Lawrence (Clemson Qb) was on concussion protocol earlier this year. He was on it for two days and played the following week. It all depends on symptoms. Regardless, rob has a good time to rest with it being break, and wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him play against Illinois
  3. Yup. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious and he can move through protocol relatively quickly.
  4. Rumors are afloat that Stewart would consider joining the class as he's friends with all these guys?
  5. Rabjohns is right - Unfortunately McRobbie doesn't care about athletics
  6. Let's face it. De'Ron is running out of time and is probably never going to turn into the monster we thought he would be (mainly cause of injuries), but at this point, we may want to look at starting De'Ron over Smith. Smith absolutely sh*its his pants in big games
  7. At this point TJD would be a sure starter over Justin Smith
  8. I thought he canceled his visit to MSU
  9. I attended IU from '07-'11 so my graduating class witnessed the worst 4 year basketball winning percentage out of any graduating class - unless you graduated in 3 years from '08-'11. If I recall correctly, Ellis and Thomas were asked not to come back, Eric Gordon left for the NBA, DJ white left for the NBA (he had a year left of eligibility due to a medical red shirt) and people like Jordan Crawford simply transferred out. Also, if you recall, we had a helluva a recruiting class coming in -- which included Tu Hollewell -- who decided to open up his recruitment and ultimately chose Xavier to team up with Crawford and Devin Ebanks who also chose not to come to IU and ultimately signed with West Virginia...however Pritchard and Elston (both committed under Sampson) came to IU. Yes - imo Crean milked this process and was excellent in buying time with his savvy pr. This is all speculation, but I have a hunch that if Archie Miller occurred 10 years ago we wouldn't have seen the mass exodus or incoming recruits going elsewhere (after all Archie was able to keep Crean's last recruiting class all in place) like we did with Crean and that our rebuilding job would've been much quicker. Imo, i think a lot of it was self-inflicted.
  10. Bingo - we weren't hammered. Crean dismissed players from the program and was able to buy himself close to a half decade before building a good team by using PR tactics. BTW - we're a top 25 team in Archie's 2nd year here, and let me tell you, the cupboard was pretty bare when he came in last year.
  11. There is nothing to see here....
  12. Goodness Crean was such a hack. Thank God he's gone.
  13. We're actually mentioned in that article. Not sure what the time frame is.
  14. I've read so many articles and seen so many schools I can't remember- have we been brought up at all or insinuated?
  15. Let me also add that this is great for perception. We are continuously getting top kids from the State. This is becoming a strong trend that others schools like PU must worry about. We clearly are establishing ourselves as the alpha dog
  16. Sure - it would definitely be close to or on par with that class
  17. I would say a class that includes Brooks, TJD, Stewart and one of Ramsey/Bouknight/Newman would go down as the greatest class ever assembled at IU
  18. Crean wasn’t well liked in the state...simple as that...and yes, he was a car salesmen to “nth” degree, and yes it is so refreshing to have a coach like Archie who is all business..:and let me add on by saying that Crean wasn’t well liked in general. It is no coincidence that we see far more former players coming back to workout and watch practices with Archie leading the program than when Crean was here. And people may have thought Jeffries was rough on crean when he was on the radio last month, but I can assure you, he’s not the only one who felt that way when it comes to former personnel affiliated with the program
  19. Yeah - it is hysterical. I don't pay any attention to them. We bring in a top 10 class, have another year under Archie's system, and return 5 of the top 7 scorers.
  20. Rest assured - Hunter can and probably will handle the ball at times this year.
  21. Mike Davis is gonna do real well at UD. I look forward to seeing what they do. He seems to win at these small schools
