I am just not used to so many good things happening for IU basketball. It is a bit overwhelming. Dolson and CMW are effing killing it.

It has been a long time since I have been this excited about Indiana basketball. I can't wait to see a team go out on the floor, play loose, and have fun. IU did not look like they were having fun last year, they looked like a team that had just been sentenced to a labor camp at the same time they were being punched in the dick and someone was kicking their puppy.

Like most people on this board, I was disappointed at first with this hire. The more I think about it, the more I like it. He is one of the only coaches we could have got that can actually say to a player, "I know what it takes to get to the NBA, and if you are willing to put in the work, we can make it happen." I think that will really motivate players to improve and put in the work to up their game.

I am very disappointed with this hire but at least we got a guy who really wants to be here. I hope that is enough to return us to glory, but I am skeptical.

I just found this prophecy from Nostradamus that I think explains everything: After a great fire destroys the mythical arch, which is foundation of the empire flying five Crimson flags, two days short of a fortnight the prodigal son of Zion shall return home to rebuild the empire, and fly in short haste five flags more. It seems pretty obvious to me that this means that 12 days after Archie is fired, IU will hire Brad Stevens (who is from Zionsville), and give us five more National Championships.

I learned something interesting living in Texas. The Texas legislature issued the University of Texas millions of acres of land under land grants in the 1870s. A lot of the land was in west Texas, a location that no one in their right mind would want to live. In the early 1900s oil was discovered on this land. That land now compromises a large swath of the Permian Basin, one of the most productive oil basins in the world.
