    Has anyone ever had a terrible boss and just completely given up on a job and found so much freedom by not being oppressed by the expectations of a soulless dictator that they did their best work ever? That is probably incredibly specific and most people haven’t been there, but I think it is what is happening to IU.

    You forgot to add that half of the rumors about Matta are that he can't walk, and the other half are that he wants to coach again and has recently been seen deadlifting farm equipment.

    Let's play a game. Name all of the current Big Ten coaches that have coached for at least 4 years in the Big Ten (so exclude Ferry, Howard, and Hoiberg) that have not achieved a winning record in conference play in their first 4 years coaching in the Big Ten.
