I was wondering the same thing. Basically sounds like he is getting 9mm a year. Maybe we don’t owe the retention 1mm per year if he is fired? Also, I wonder what his buyout is if someone wants to try to poach him.

But that same ESPN ranking has PU ranked 113th. When we play PU doesn’t their ranking, for purposes of our strength of schedule, carry much more weight than their SOS. I just can’t imagine us getting a bump for beating the 113th ranked team at home.

ESPN scheduled the playoff show for 8:30 but the 6:30 game is running beyond 2 hours. What an unexpected shocker!!!!!! He is really enamored with the staffs coaching on both sides of the ball. Jeronimo was scoreless tonight in a game Maryland blew out the opposition 84-43. In three games JG has played 14 minutes a game but has only scored a total of 4 points (2-5 from the field).

Beating up the Little Sisters of The Poor has never proven much. The talent discrepancies between an Eastern Il level team/league and IU were just as great prior to NIL as they are now. Ugly first half but first 30+ win in nearly two years (and we played plenty of duds in those two prior years).

It’s just the way it is these days but I’m not a fan of the current reality that winning by 35 is better than 25 for tourney ranking/seeds/etc.
