Juwan Morgan RETURNING For Senior Season
DChoosier replied to Cheaney40's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Juwan is a high character guy and I am glad we have him In regards to Dakich's comments. Is he talking about the NBA GM's that draft players year after year that take money from agents and shoe companies, did not go to classes, had domestic violence issues, failed drug tests, etc. etc because, as they say with semi-sincerity, (pull out the tissue when crying) "every kid deserves a second chance" LOL. Yes, maybe a kid slides from 3rd to 10th, if they are a bad apple, but let's face it, they go with the talent. -
Juwan Morgan RETURNING For Senior Season
DChoosier replied to Cheaney40's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I do not think the Romeo's stuff has anything to do with Juwan. Romeo is announcing April 30th. Juwan will not get feedback until May. If he happens to get positive comments he will go out (doubt that will happen). The timing of Juwan's decision does not match up with Romeo's decision. -
(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

Some posts kind of infer that it is easy to reclassify. I do not know the details of how to do it but would think it is not a routine thing to do. -
(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS

Would not be shabby if 2018 star power was Romeo and TJD followed by Brooks and Watford in 2019!! -

Actually 5 year. Redshirt year and then four more :) -

TJD does not have to reclassify to play with Romeo. If TJD commits in 2019 that would give him three years with Romeo (i.e. through TJD's junior year and Romeo's senior year). -
One would think they get nailed but if I was them I would do 2 things: 1) deny, deny, deny 2) hire the University of No Classes attorneys Simple as that.

Might be. i just got the 6'8" numbers from the 247 site which is often not updated and/or incorrect when it comes to height. -

Yes, all three being 6'8" does not matter if they could be in the lineup as 3,4,5's as mentioned above. I just did not know if they could be 3,4,5's or if all three were, as an example, back to the basket prototypical power 4's. Little early for me to worry about this as the odds of getting all three are very slim anyway. Getting One or two of them would be great. -

That was what I meant by my question.....would they all play together? -

I do not know much about their style of play (I.e wing, stretch 4, under the bucket guy etc) but see that 247 has all three at 6'8" with two being SF and TJD a center. From a "share the ball/playing time" etc perspective is there any chance we could get all three? I would guess no but what is the harm in being delusional ? :) -

He does. Lots of bad tourney losses. -

True but still a win/championship. One could also argue that we won in '87 because the Cuse could not hit their free throws. I do not care as we got the win :) -
It is interesting but not surprising. Just look at the number of IU Burger Boys that did not turn into multi-year NBA players. Pat Graham, Greg Graham (I do not think he was in league multi-years), Bracy Wright, Luke Recker, Dane Fife, Neil Reed, Damon Bailey, Sherron Wilkerson, Daryl Thomas, etc. That being said...Recruiting and/or judging talent is a "numbers game" and 43% of Burger Boys playing at least 175 NBA games and 8.3 percent being all stars is massively higher than the odds of a non-burger boy D1 player being in the NBA.

One....Number of Loyola Final Fours in the past 25 years. One...Number of IU Final Fours in the past 25 years :(

After seeing the NCAA do absolutely nothing to UNC it is hard to predict what will happen to the Ville. -
It does not get re-seeded.
-
Blueitt has looked absolutely awful. X really got screwed by the refs as the last 3 fouls called on their leading scorer were terrible. He was called when making a clean block, a clean steal and the charge against him also looked wrong. FSU started the run when he had to go to the bench.

After missing the tourney 6 of the past 10 years I am at the point where I would roll the dice on a 5 star that whines a bit too much. -
Get back in the game and then unforced TO, Hartman brick and then give up wide open three.
-
It would be ironic if we win this at the line.
-
Newkirk made two free throws...anything is possible.
-
Johnson 2-13. All year...No idea from game to game which Rojo, Green or Newkirk is going to show up.
-
Your right. Your complex theory is way over my head.
