Something going on there. And then the Hail Mary with 3 seconds to go. Don’t ever remember seeing that in a blowout. -

He can play in 4 games and keep his redshirt. He has played in 2. -

Need to keep things interesting. I say we let the homecoming king and queen play in the backfield for a series. -

I do like one halftime adjustment. The coaches were called for two penalties in the first half but have not been penalized in the second half. Very impressive improvement. -

One thing I have liked since Allen became the DC is that tackling improved and we stopped giving up so many 3rd and longs. For some reason those improvements are down the drain today. We seem to nearly always choke when we go into a “tipping point” game that we have a reasonable chance of winning. Just look bad today. -

He’s been called that many times. -

I don’t know how someone can call Ramsey a good downfield passer. At this point in his career he is not good downfield. He just isn’t. He runs well and throws good short passes but is limited downfield. That being said, today’s issues are in the trenches, tackling, the D stinks and stupid penalties. We were just called for being offsides on a kickoff (LOL). Does anyone EVER remember a game in which the coaches were flagged twice in the first half?? -

Yes, they clearly want to redshirt him. He can play in two more games and they seem to be saving those in case Ramsey gets hurt. If he does not have to play, because of a Ramsey injury, I would guess that he will get some reps in the last two games of the season. -

If he is slamming our recruit, while on a visit with us, I would politely say “your visit is officially over. Thanks for coming and good luck”. He clearly just came to watch Iowa play. -

I was thinking the same thing. Just wait until the second half when he sees that 70% of the remaining fans are wearing black. -

Very disappointing so far. I stupidly (have I not learned after decades of watching) thought the days of.not being able to tackle were in the rear view mirror. The punt return and missed sack looked like keystone cops. Still, get a TD and we are back in it. Not sure if it matters because we seem unable to stop their offense. -

Agree. FG’s rather than TD’s often cost us games. The pass should have been ruled a catch. He clearly had his hand under the ball when he hit the ground. Big call. -
(2019) WR David Bell to Purdue
DChoosier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
I saw that 2 of the top 7 Indiana prospects (Bell and Britt) are from Warren Central. Britt has committed to Iowa. (with offers from AZ, MSU, MN, Louisville etc). Anyone know how the staff is received at WC and/or if we have made inroads there? WC seems to have some of the best players in the state every year. -

This is the type of game I really want to see us win at least once a year. Win at OSU....would be nice but that is a “dream win”. Beating Iowa at home is the type of “upgrade win” that is within reach but we have not historically secured. Just looked at Wilson’s first bowl team. We went bowling with only 2 conference wins and both were against teams that only had one conference win all season (ie, bad teams). The following year was also a bowl year in which we beat bad teams (thanks to PU for providing the Hazell years). The MSU win looked exceptional but they went on to only win one conference game all year. Would just like to see us start beating some “above average” conference opponents. Think we can do it tomorrow. -

That’s where do disagree. I think the university should suspend an accused felon but that the legal system, not the university, should conduct the investigation and decide guilt or non-guilt. -

Glad we made the final three. Hopefully we make the final: 2 3/4 2 1/2, 2 1/4, 2, 1 3/4 1 1/2 1 1/4 and then... 1 -

I did not say the accused would not be suspended until the case was resolved. -

I think we are on the same page. The charges should be referred to the police, not handled by the university. Guilty... out of school and face the punishment as per the legal system. Not guilty... in school, on the team etc. -

It does not make any sense at all. i just want the truth. As an example If a student witness, that is a friend of the alleged perpetrator, is questioned by a Geology professor he/she might be more inclined to lie/omit facts as opposed to talking to a member of the legal system that tells them “ you could be an accomplice, charged for lying”etc. It just seems like a no brainer. Crime = dealing with the legal system, not a Folklore professor.. -

Staff and faculty should decide the fate of a student doing something such as cheating on an exam. When it comes to felony accusations, such as rape, the school should call the police and leave it to the cops to sort things out. -

So if a woman was raped, or claimed rape, at your former place of employment they would tell her “you have to go through corporate procedures and cannot call the police”? -

I not not referring to just this case but all similar cases. He allegedly raped her. This is obviously a serious crime and/or accusation. Why in the world is this a university case? If there is a rape charge, or any other serious case, it should go to the local cops. If this happened at Eli Lily they could not say “ stay out of this local prosecutor, we have this handled”. No, it would have gone to the police just as this incident, and all other serious cases, should.
