The problem with Sean Miller is that he coaches the crap out of the regular season, and no matter where he's seeded in the NCAA tournament, he collapses.

Mack does recruit the state well, but I'm just not completely sold on him... hard to pick a hire based on one game... but he seems solid in a quiet way...

Sean Miller is a great coach ... until the tourney starts... always has been... good recruiter, great fan base, just can't get it done in the dance. The U of A fans are pretty rabid, but mostly in a fairly passive way (if that makes sense). It's almost like they expect the collapse... and they seem to enjoy the ride up to the point where everything crashed down around them. If memory serves, Arizona (though not Miller) was the first 2 seed to be dumped by a 15 (Santa Clara in '93), so they have history and experience here.

After watching Crean's teams for 9 years, I still cringe with I see a supposedly seasoned coach who struggles to get his team to play against a zone...

His inconsistent record plus the character issues make him a SOLID NO in my book. I'm still all-in on Donovan... I could live with Archie, Bennett, Holtmann or White... But I don't get a say in who the new coach is, so, there's that, too.

Mack started at Evansville but transferred to Xavier for the last 2 years of his playing career.

TL;DR I like turtles... and Donovan. Archie would work here, and Bennett is growing on me.
