  1. Even if he was down, holding them to three would be huge.   Less good, still great.   Also, touchdown OSU! Go Penn State!
  2. ANOTHER GOALLINE FUMBLE ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!?!? I LOVE THIS GAME!!
  3. Hey! Indiana has the big TV and the sound. OSU v. Harbaugh is on the smallest TV on silent.   But, I would usually make comments during the downtime between downs or commercials, but now I have something else I'm watching between downs.   Though, I am wearing an Indiana shirt with OSU pants. I only wear khakis and didn't have any other options.   Also, secret time? I love watching the fucking boilers get pissed on, but better fundamental football is being played on the smaller screen.
  4. Their punter is darn good.   Sorry I haven't been around as much. They shouldn't have scheduled the two biggest rivalry games in the Big Ten at the same time.
  5. Great way to end the half.
  6. You're dead to me Oakes.
  7. What a crazy long drive! Amazing!
  8. I get so nervous in the end zone. Why do we always run it?
  9. Oh good. I saw her too and was nervous I was hallucinating.
  10. GOALLINE FUMBLE!!!
  11. I love high variance football.
  12. Why is the announcer voice at Ross-Ade a demon? Don't they have any sound engineers to fix that?
  13. It blows my mind we have a thread about "Standards at Indiana" and holding people to a higher level for a higher level program and one promoting booing right next to each other.
  14. Wow.   Just... wow.
  15. He was terrible in the UNLV game, but who wasn't?   The one game he's really played in (St. John's) he had a very efficient game but no impressive stats.   But, he's a freshman way low in the rotation. It's tough to make any judgments this early.
  16.   People aren't exactly so good at booing to make it clear. Last time Crean was booed it certainly appeared to be booing the team too. And the team is going to think it's for them too. Just like last time. Saying afterward "oh, that was for Crean, meant to tell you" didn't really smooth it over either. I don't think any players should ever have to hear boos coming from their home fans. Boos for their coach because they lost some games.    But I mean, if booing a team of college kids because you are trying to send a message to their coach seems like something you should do then... I guess there's that.   It's gross. Even booing your coach is gross. It's the worst way to communicate discontent ever. You may think you're booing the name on the back of his button-up, but everyone just sees you booing the name on the front.
  17. The pride of Indiana. A place where people of intelligence come together for discourse and attractive banging - 44   Some gross garbage heap where cattle and people roam the streets together but are indistinguishable. A sad pit of despair. Rumor has it there was once a beautiful girl born in West Lafayette... do you know what happened to her? She was smart enough to go to the school down south and totally score with a great guy who may have broke her heart. Oops. What was I talking about? Oh yeah. Like maybe -19?
  18. And we will have fewer transfers if we don't create a situation where we are asked to release commits in the middle of heavy recruiting. Why would DD ever stay with a program where he has no idea who he will be playing with or for? Commits stay with us until we fire Crean. An interim coach can't finish the class. The transition will be much smoother if we don't fire the coach midseason. It's way too soon to predict how fans are going to treat the team and coaches. I expect some boos on Monday but after a couple wins the urge to support the team will overcome the boos. I don't think Crean can repair his future, but if Indiana fans are so classless to boo their own team over and over then we deserve all the bad things that happen to the program.
  19. Considering we haven't even arranged student chants in years I can't see it.
  20. What halfway decent coach do we snag in November? Are we just giving up on having any recruits next year then? Firing without a replacement plan is not a good move for the program. We don't need another long search committee, we need a deal brokered between the next coach and the current coach before announcements are made. This gives recruits an opportunity to see who they are going to play for. That could be the difference between a cluster bomb and a smooth transition.
  21. Well, if the highest level donors want change it helps. I mean, if Nunn, Cuban, Skjodt, or Glaubinger said it was over, it is hard to argue with them. And there are tons of six and five figure donors. Those are important ones too. And it's better this way. Who would want just a few Richie Rich types to have all the power?
