  1. Some games last night definitely favor IU's NY6 bowl fortunes. Probably an oversimplification, but if we can play and beat a quality opponent this coming week, Fiesta is looking good. A loss or no game played, and we probably see a Citrus level bowl.
  2. #12 is absolutely asinine. I was holding on to hope that we could sneak into the playoff, but the committee slammed the door shut on that. Are we deserving of a playoff spot? Most likely not, at least not yet. But we are a very good team and 12 is a clear message that we aren't being considered.
  3. the talent difference is outstanding. I am worried this OSU offense is too tough.
  4. Cant move the ball consistently. D is mostly holding us in there. We need a 2nd half surge from the skill positions.
  5. We gave the opportunity for the stripes to swallow the whistle.
  6. Do we feel better about this recruitment if he is an early enrollee?
  7. This is an absolute defensive clinic (With one of the clinic rules being have a freak defensive post player).
  8. Agree with that. Watching Eason in college it's obvious he has an NFL arm but rumors about his dedication to being a "student of the game". Its a tough call where to use the picks next year, considering we wont have super high picks and assuming they won't trade up. There is a lot of talent elsewhere on the roster.
  9. 2021 draft spend a 1st rounder on a qb
  10. Are we recruiting Aminu Mohammed at the guard spot?
  11. Wesley would be great, but do we know how high he is on us?
  12. I could see Al thriving in a 3 guard lineup where he guards the opponent's "3". He struggles to guard quickness sometimes so putting him alongside Phin and Lander would make his defensive job more suitable to his capabilities. It would probably work on the offensive end too, as Lander's quickness would open up more scoring opportunities for him. Idk if Archie will do it, we haven't seen a lot of 3 guard so far but IMO it could work for next year's roster.
  13. Thank you Peyton Ramsey for all you have done for this team! Huge part of why this season was a success. Now let's keep Penix healthy please.
  14. My completely uninformed opinion: Trayce tests the waters this year, gets feedback, and returns. He develops a killer jump shot and gets physically stronger. He averages 22 points 12,rebounds and 3 blocks per game in his sophomore campaign, leading us to a Big Ten Championship and thena Final Four. In the NCAA championship game, he puts up 40 and 20, looking like a young Wilt leading us to a 105-53 win over Maryland. The 2002 heartbreak is avenged. Trayce is then selected with the #1 overall pick and becomes a stellar ambassador for the IU brand during a freakishly successful NBA career. Who knows though, just a guess. Anything could happen
  15. For those in attendance, what are your opinions on the college prospects of both post players?
  16. Best damn pastrami on rye in existence.
  17. Devonte returns (close to) home. Would love to see him get hot.
  18. Smith has really turned a corner, it seems. I am very happy to be 100% wrong about his place at IU.
  19. Big talent. Is he seen as a guy we could flip?
  20. Surprised Pikachu always gets my upvote
  21. Jake might have enjoyed IU TOO much! Easy mistake, many of us did at 19.
  22. Me trying to decode our 2020 class
  23. The classic South Africa ---> LA pipeline.
  24. For those who have seen, how does Goode's skillset and development compare to other 2021 guards like Wesley or Blackmon?
