    Honestly what is the best case scenario for Dolson or the BoT at this point? Do they really think Woodson is the guy we should entrust the future of our program to?

    Well I can guarantee this is the absolute last thing Dolson and the IU administration wanted to have happen today. I feel like they're just spending the remaining season closing their eyes, crossing their fingers, and praying we get to the tournament so the heat is off Woodson so they don't have to come up with another buyout.

    Musselman may be trying to leave Arkansas after this season because he's worried about the effect this scandal/drama will have on recruiting. If you don't know what the scandal/drama relates to, it's not hard to find on Twitter. It's, let's say, a sign of the times I guess.

    Well I just wonder which refs were reffing when PU beat Arizona, Marquette, Tennessee, and Bama. I'd love to believe they flame out early yet again too, but also accepting the possibility this could be their year after all.

    Might be my imagination, but I've noticed an uptick in pro-Woodson talk from new accounts on some iu sites I frequent. I do think the athletic department is going all out on positive PR for Woodson.

    What also worries me is how Fran seems to own us as of late. I wouldn't be surprised if Woodson's only beaten Iowa once or twice.

    1-7. We'll likely end up 3-5 as long as I didn't just jinx it.

    Yep, and I would argue that it almost never works out. Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Lavell Jordan, Chris Mullins, Kenny Payne, and Juwan Howard are quick examples of it not working out. Many more are out there. I'm sure there are plenty of cases where it does work out, but it just goes to show that being an alum of a university doesn't mean a candidate will have a greater chance of success.

    Hated it from the beginning. Wanted to be proven wrong, but it doesn't feel like I have been. Even after 3 years, I still can't believe we hired Mike Woodson.

    Still blows my mind that Rutgers bagged 2 of the top 10 in that class.

    I believe it was only one game Vonleh sat out, much to the dismay of fans. A lot of fans speculated that he was preserving his draft stock. Going off memory here, but I think it was an Ohio State home game and Hanner Perea played pretty well, indicating he'd be ready to shoulder more minutes in the future front court when Vonleh left. Ha.

    Hummel can't hide his giddiness when IU is playing poorly. Objectively I think he's better than most, but can't help feel like he can't wait to pile on IU when we're struggling.

    Why is DePaul considered such a tough job? Seems like its access to Chicago talent and being in the new Big East would be a good sell. But, I know nothing about the program or its history.

    Yep, this. I'm not motivated to go buy IU gear whatsoever right now. However if were 15-3 with a Top 10 record after having trounced Purdue a week ago I'd probably have ordered another IU hoodie I don't need by now. Whether it's, Nike, Adidas, Puma, or LA Gear.

    Meh. Good coach and all, but a gamble. I also don't want to go from complaining about how his team defenses grab and hold their opponents, to being forced to like it if he became our coach.

    Ok yes let's do that.

    Blow everything up again on a maybe? Man, look where we are. What success are we messing with? We're probably missing the tournament even with three 5 stars in our starting lineup and ~10 years of experience in our starting backcourt. I will say we need to let the season play out, but I'm totally willing to lose what we have and start over if we finish the way I think it will go.
