100%. If he's actually worth $400K then he should have no problem earning that somewhere else. We all know that would never happen. Ultimately I couldn't care less, good for him for getting life changing money at such a young age. From a fan's perspective though, it does not seem like a wise allocation of finite resources.

Dream season, and it wasn't a fluke. Cignetti is the real deal. Time will tell if we remain in the CFP conversation in years to come, but I'm confident we're no longer a guaranteed win on anyone's schedule, and that we'll always be in bowl games.

I can't help but wonder how differently the game would have gone if Rourke didn't throw a pick in the red zone on that drive right after the Ponds interception in the 1st quarter. Confidence is everything when your team is less talented and has to play with a chip on its shoulder, and a TD there would have definitely given us confidence. Frustrating.

I legit could stomach this season a little bit better if he had even an ounce of humility on this past season's Senior Day. If he said something to the effect of "This season didn't go the way we expected or wanted, but we're gonna keep fighting to get better. This university deserves more. IU fans deserve more. I appreciate all of your support." I would be way more inclined to watch games, and would probably feel a connection to this team at least to the point I don't want the head coach run out of town on the next train. But instead what do we get? An F-U attitude, implying those who question him aren't "true fans", putting forth no effort in recruiting, activating the burner squad on social media, and the business between him and the Hoosier Hysterics coming to light. Hopefully he doesn't get to resign. I want him fired.
