Well this game is officially over. I just hope we can make it somewhat respectable to save a chance at the playoffs. A blowout would give a lot of ammo to the naysayers about us getting in and I wouldn't necessarily disagree.

OSU is ripe for an upset. They're good but not a juggernaut by any means. Let's go boys. Shock the world and get arguably the biggest win of the program's history.

Woodson's perception of himself vs the reality of how others perceive him are so far apart. He clearly thinks he swings a much bigger stick than he he actually does. It's not to hard to see why, as he played under Bob Knight, won a championship here, and played/coached in the NBA. So it's understandable if you get an ego. But you've got to do some self reflection and try to judge yourself objectively once in a while. It's a good leadership trait to have confidence, but it's also important to be humble.

We are not a serious program until Mike Woodson is gone. I have zero expectations for this year.

FWIW I am part of the national board on Rivals and basically everyone thinks IU is legit. It's nice we're getting support from CFB fans. Now it would be better if AP voters followed suit.

Never been a fan of lining up 5 yards back when all you need is a few inches. I'll take a 10 point halftime lead though, especially when we get the ball first in the 2nd half.

If you take out all of Rice's missed 3 pt attempts, he shot 100% last season. I mean if we're cherry picking which shots count, why not?

Yeah we'll just have to strongly disagree there. Rice will be a nice player, but he shot <30% from 3 last year. Carlyle not much better.

Agreed. I drank the koolaid last year but I'm not getting burned again. I recently listened to a Gary Parrish podcast from a few months ago and man they were not quite as bullish on Indiana. We've done nothing to improve our 3 pt shooting from the guard spots. That will hurt us when teams just sag off our guards and clog the lane.
