I hope he has great success somewhere, I'll be rooting for whatever team he joins. Lots of talent, and seems like a great kid. Won't exactly be shedding any tears losing him though, mostly because I really think we need as much of a fresh start as possible. I always thought he had a lot of fire in him, which was refreshing to see on a team that lacked it.

Woke up this morning even more pumped about this hire than I was last night. We had probably the worst B1G coach the past 4 years yet still managed around 20 wins per year. Now we have a proven winner in college basketball who has spent time at a Power 4 school. I have to think that will be good for an additional 2-4 wins per year. Let's freakin roll.

I'll take a coach who shows life on the sidelines as opposed to what we've had the last 4 years. Teams so often take on the identity of their head coach. We've seemed mostly lazy and disinterested since Woodson got here.

I can't love this hire enough. I watched WVU a few times this year and this guy is intense. He really gets after it with his players, high energy guy on the sidelines. So excited to follow this program again now that we have a college basketball coach who puts in the work to recruit. Let's purge our roster, get a coaching staff in place, and build through the portal.

Woodson wasn't announced until March 28. He obviously wasn't a college coach, just a bench coach with the Knicks. If we have 11 more days of this I'm gonna have to start putting my thumb on ice every night.

I stated my desire for Devries before Woodson even "retired" and we had an opening. Caught a decent amount of WVU games this year because I thought he'd be a candidate. Solid yes for me.

Yeah for a few weeks I've thought that I don't need to see a bracket. Florida will be my pick. They're not really a sleeper though when they're a 1 seed and clearly one of the best teams in the country.

It's simple. Painter now has the benefit of the doubt with the B1G officials. Get used to it, they'll rinse and repeat with this stuff every year no matter who their primary big is.

Right. Woodson turned down an NIT invite last year. Zero chance he's coaching in the worthless Crown event.

LOL we're going to be left with whoever Iowa doesn't want, despite effectively having gotten rid of our coach a month ago.

I am all aboard the Huss train if we strike out on our top targets like Stevens, May, Few, Donovan (lol). His resume is impressive, I think he's got a very high ceiling. Initially I wrote him off because I hadn't really heard of him, but he could be a major steal.

My question is if UNC beats Duke, how much does that improve UNC's chance of making the tournament? Does the committee factor in injured players to the equation?
