Let's do this. We always seem to play better as the underdog......let's continue the rank'em and spank'em tradition!

Here's to hoping for a lot of Yogi and OG---I am coining a new hybrid acronym--YOG (pronounced yogee)! Beat The Heels!

Have a good one. I picked Duke over Oregon so I am disappointed too. Hopefully tomorrow night will be better as we root on our Hoosiers!

I agree with the Boozer comparison---that's what I was thinking too. Unfortunately, Maryland doen't have an AJ Moye to slow him down. LOL!

We are truly outmatched in this one talent-wise so we have to win the old fashioned way----with hustle--heart--and smarts.   Hit the boards---get on the floor---play with intensity---contest every shot---find the open man----good passes----take care of the ball---don't back down----refuse to lose.   If all else fails---get it to Yogi and get out of the way.  He got us here---let him finish the job or go down tryin'!   What a great year---this team is special and COULD win it all---whatever happens---I am happy with what we have achieved and so proud to be a Hoosier!  Now--let's beat the Tarheels!

Yep----CRICKETS is all we hear on this topic.   To borrow a political term---maybe UNC is "too big to fail" in the eyes of the NCAA.   I have to believe they are going to get sanctioned---but it won't be to the level that they deserve.

Hope TB and OG are both back next year and I think they will be....   A fun thing I saw on facebook and #iubb was a split photo with Watford hitting the game winning shot against UK and it was titled "Watshot" and then the other half of the photo was OG blocking Murray's jumper in the last UK game and it was titled "Notshot".   I like it---2 ways to beat UK---the "Watshot" and the "Notshot"!   If someone has the tech skills to find and post the split photo---it's worth the look. Just another way OG is making his mark on IU BBall!

Congratulations Lady Hoosiers on a great season! You made us proud and hung with Notre Dame for most of the game. We will always remember how tough you played this year ---and going unbeaten in The Hall. Build on this and come back next year hungrier than ever!   I have always wondered why we couldn't have a women's tradition as strong as the men's---maybe we are on our way!

Alford is definitely on the hot seat. They trade coaches at UCLA lately about as often as the weather changes here in Indiana. Whatever happens--he got his chance to coach at a blueblood.  He just didn't perform. If he gets another chance there---I hope he makes the most of it next year.  No offense, but the PAC-12 is so overrated I can't figure out how he can't win out there with all that talent he's assembled. Come on Stevie--we're rooting for you.

This is definitely David and Goliath---but sometimes David wins! Unleash THE BUSS! Go Hoosiers!

We need some help from the good people of IU/Francaisland.  What is a "Tarheel" and how does one defeat it? Pictures would be ideal.  Queen O or Medema---do your thing.

UNC starts out with a lead until we get used to their length and speed--ala UK. Then we fight and claw back on the strength of our guard play which includes several three pointers including the game winner by Yogi at the buzzer.  Now that's how you take out a number one seed.   IU 80 UNC 77

I am so glad the Big has 3 of the 16. I was rooting all Big Ten until now. I can't root for Wiscy any further as I absolutely hate playing against that swing offense and their slow down style. So--it's go Notre Dame for me. I will still be rooting for Maryland over Kansas and of course for our Hoosiers to go ALL THE WAY!

That Wiscy win should help Crean with National Coach of Year as I was hearing Xavier's Coach was his main competition. Of course, Gard is making his own strong case.

And Remy Abell has to be thinking--"I STILL hate Wisconsin!"
