I love it that all the commentators and talking heads are counting us out against UNC----because I guarantee you our guys believe they will win. And--Hoosier Nation believes as well!   On a side note--it has been wonderful down here in rainy Southern Indiana today.  I have been across the bridge to Owensboro, Kentucky twice today in full IU gear.  Lots of grumbling across the border. Most are talking about how bad they played because they don't want to give us any credit.  Of course, we know better!  A Great Day!

Good grief---come on UNI--no love for the $EC from this household. I would love to see them shut out of the Sweet 16.

Rooting for the Big Ten. Sorry to see Iowa lay a huge egg today--glad Maryland pulled through. Rooting for Wiscy but I would be OK with Xavier---good to see Remy playing so well.

What's the old saying:  "Rub some dirt on it"!  There is no tommorrow. It's win or go home time in the tournament!

Our sentries have spotted a huge bright light to the south in the evening sky.  At first we were puzzled about what it could be--- but then we realized---ahhh it's nothing---they're just burning lots of couches in Lexington, Kentucky again!   Queen O has sounded the alarm in our southern villages. Lock your doors tonight and guard your couches!   Victory parade and party at the palace tomorrow!

This is going to be a tough one but I for one am not worried about it--- yet.  Isn't it great to be playing the likes of UK and Carolina again. It's OK to start breaking this game down but we have earned some bragging rights with our nasty neighbors to the south and I am going to savor this win for a few days before getting worked up over Carolina. I am sure the BBall staff is already watching film and we may see a similar plan to how we played Purdue or UK--invert and make the bigs play on the perimeter to guard Max and TB from 3. It's great to survive and advance! And--we're all going to have sweet dreams tonight. Goodnight Hoosier Nation! Go IU!

Man--the Heels have a ton of bigs.  While their interior defense is as good or better than UK's----their perimeter defense was not.  I hope we get those open looks at 3 as we will need a bunch of them to offset their 2's inside.

Congrats Lady Hoosiers!  What a great day of IU Basketball.  Sure--both the men and women face tough teams next week--but let's enjoy these wins for a week!

I'm down here by Evansville on the river---and you have no idea how bad we needed this win to shut the Cats fans up. We could only live off "The Wat Shot" for so long. I absolutely cannot wait for church tomorrow and work on Monday---IU BABY!

Gotta say great coaching job by Crean---way outcoached Calipari. Great stuff out of timeouts and juggling the lineup with all the injuries. Way to go to Bryant in the post at the end.   How about walk-on Burton with 2 big rebounds near the end.   I'm an oldster--from the Knight era--and I have to say I had a few tears of joy come down my cheek at the end.  We are back. We are relevant again. And we ain't done yet.   This is a special team. Proud to be a Hoosier today!

OG not only lurks in the passing lanes to get the steals---he was a complete steal in recruiting. So glad we beat Iowa out for him. Future looks bright!
