right there with you man. Just taking a deep breath of patience tonight. It's one of those things where nothing that happens in this game will make any of us feel any better about last week. What will pull my Hoosier spirit back together is putting it on duke or it at least ending in a 1 possession game. If we get our tails whipped, we will be looking at a terrible non conference reality with notre dame looming

IU versus Purdue Post Game Thread
bleedhoosier replied to HoosierReb01's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
That was the most fun season I've seen personally. I didn't get into watching iufb seriously until 4 years ago so there's that too lol -
Juwan Morgan injury and etc.

Yikes.. Keep on deflecting captain. It's what you do best. Too bad for Morgan. OG, you are up so get comfortable. -
I think people are booing the 3 million dollar professional. Not the college kids. No one is going to boo the players.

Definitely seems to be a willing rebounder

New Coach Salary And Criteria...$5 million?
bleedhoosier replied to Feathery's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I was going to state how the CBB landscape would flip when the headline "Stevens to IU" came out.. Our beloved neighborhood dukie took care of that one! Can you imagine... *homer Simpson drool* the fundamentals, the defense, the simple plays....THE SCREENS -
Wow, that's actually pretty legit and more civilized than what I have in mind of a total boycott. What a task that would be. You would basically have to have signs up outside recruiting folks to do the same

New starting five to prove a point
bleedhoosier replied to Hoosiers High Life's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
After what I've seen of Bryant, I'm ready to hand him and Ziesloft or even Max the keys to the team. Bryant has already shown more leadership than these other dudes. Yogis leadership style is just get me the rock and ill put the team in my back for a stretch. Nothing much more than that from what I see from the outside looking in. -
Max should have the tshirt on. He is deserving of the Pritchard meathook jersey

On a side note.. Im just a middle class basketball nutcase but I'm always bewildered to watch people donate several mill to the university or build skyboxes, etc instead of buying crean out (for example) Maybe someone like Mark Cuban to just be like "look, here is 50 mill, go return the bball program to a powerhouse top 5 contender ever year.. Whatever coach is needed, here is the resource to make it happen" lol, I'm sure its not that easy. My point is, cool lets watch our mediocre team from these cool new skyboxes. Disclaimer: I have terrible perspective on this

Too me, a fan boycott will say so much more. It sucks because we are all madly in love with Hoosier basketball so its hard to walk away. I've personally decided my wife and I (and niece) are no longer going to any games until Crean is removed. Im not a donor so this is the only way to do my part. Some will think that makes me less of a fan. Oh well, I know I'm Hoosier to the bone.. but I ain't digging this leadership. Thanks for the return to normal relevancy is CBB but I'm looking for more.

I wanted to feel/hear everyone about before I start feeling strongly about it but boycotting the games might be the start of the answer. I hate the thought for the sake of Hartman, yogi, ziesloft, Bryant and some.. But is that false sense of connection worth watching our program waller in mediocrity and 5th place big ten finishes?? Im pretty sure if the move was actually made that a huge name would drop in the bucket. I would literally sign a shorter term lateral hire before keeping Crean. I'd give Archie 5 years max to make something happen and make the fans believe again, for example.. Fans not caring anymore is the last thing that can happen and that is exactly the road we are on.. About 2 miles in, I'd say.

Im full in now. I was giving him this year to pull onto one side of the fence or the other. Here's the thing, even if we hire the same level coach at the very least we can all have renewed hope and faith in the program getting back to doing big things. Here's challenge though. If you guys are serious about firing Crean, do NOT go to another game until he is gone. Once the hall starts going empty, u force Fred's hand. The problem is, yogi doesn't deserve that. But when does the cycle stop? We can't just let the dude run out his entire freaking contract. I dunno the answer. I'd like to just say boycott the program and stop going to the games. Too simple though. Maybe its wrong to be connected to the players. They don't even know we exist for the most part so lets cut the cord.. Just thoughts and ramblings

Wake Forest Post Game Thread

Remember when Blackmon hit a 3 and then played defense for 1 possession. That was cool... Seriously, Bill Walton is atrocious to listen to. It's like you walk away with a nugget but yet you had to become dumber in the process for listening. And we get it Bill. Every player from your generation is gold and all these new players are cheap knock offs. A team full of guards and we throw a hail Mary. Inbounds the ball on a curl.. Set up another curl further down for a very quick pass... Option b, the guard who caught the inbounds ALL GAS NO BRAKES to the rim. Even if you have to pull a 28' shot, its still a make-able shot. Beyond frustrated with this loss on repeat ever year. Im pretty sure all of us called this with 3 mins to go. Does anyone have examples of when Crean and team actually made a play to ahead 1 and win? I can't remember and I'm not being a poop-butt. I genuinely can't remember a game outside of the Wat shot in Creans seven years -
IU at 57th best defense now.. Can't wait till Monday!

Analysis; How about Thomas Bryant?
bleedhoosier replied to IndyHutch's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Was at the Creighton game and they had quite a few fans present. They seemed to be super impressed with TB and didn't realize he might be a total package. I don't think I did either. Dude needs some more conditioning as he gets winded easily but that will come. He actually almost runs as if he has had injuries in the past but I'm not aware of any. He runs carefully on his knees, like a 40 year old would lol. Anyway - the coaching staff did such a great job getting TB and those late stage Syracuse drama really helped, I'm sure. Ithink with a player like he is, emotionally, it can really pull a fan base behind a team again. Just seeing a player visibly care so much about his team is so refreshing. Somebody just said, these kids act like robots out there. Loosen up fellas, ur rock stars! -
I'm looking at it like Kansas did both.. Why can't we?
-
It would literally make my 2015 if IU puts duke down, in cameron

Why are we not playing in this thing again??

All in all, still a much more entertaining year that we are used too. Im not in the "give Wilson more time" crowd but I definitely dont think he should move on. You guys are much smarter than I am with football though. Maybe I should go check the recruiting board and see how things are looking.
