Boston College transfer Fred Payne has committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-1 guard out of Grambling, Louisiana spent three seasons at Boston College, redshirting one. He averaged 15.8PPG, 4.2RPG, 2.7APG and 1.1SPG in 2025-26.

Hoosiers get a 10-6 mid-week win over Louisville. Linn started and pitched 5 innings of 4-hit shutout ball. Things deteriorated from their with 4 additional IU pitchers giving up 6 hits (4 for extra bases) and all 6 Louisville runs. We had 11 hits; Malamazian with 3 and Hanley and ten Oever with 2 each. Decker and Fry each with 2 RBI. Next weekend we're on the road at Northwestern. ten Oever has been on quite a tear and was just name B1G Freshman of the Week.
