  1. Named to Max Preps Sophomore All-American third team. Cole Kelly, Neuqua Valley (Naperville, Ill.) 6-7 | Wing Averaged 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals per contest for the Wildcats (31-2). Named honorable mention on Max Preps Sophomore All-American team. Landon Lampley, Pike (Indianapolis, Ind.) 6-6 | Wing Produced 15.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assist per game to help the Red Devils go 23-4.
  2. Named honorable mention on Max Preps Sophomore All-American team. Josh Lindsay, St. Xavier (Louisville, Ky.) 6-1 | Guard Averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game against a challenging national schedule. Lindsay helped the Tigers (29-8) reach the state title game and threw down one of the dunks of the year in the loss.
  3. Named to Max Preps Sophomore All-American team. A.J. Williams, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, Ga.) 6-7 | Wing Top-ranked prospect put up 31.8 points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game to help the Eagles (19-12) reach the second round of the Class 4A state tournament
  4. Named to Max Preps Sophomore All-American team. Colton Hiller, Coatesville (Pa.) 6-5 | Guard Filled up the stat sheet with averages of 23.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 3.1 steals per game to help the Red Raiders (23-7) reach the Class 6A state tournament.
  5. Hoosiers break out the heavy lumber and take the weekend opener 11-3. We had 13 hits that included 5 HR from 5 different players. Koskie led the way with 3 RBI. Neubeck started and pitched 6 innings before tiring in the 7th. He allowed 4 hits, 2 BB and charged with 1 run. Vogel took over in the 7th but gave up 3 hits and 2 runs and was replaced by Seebold who finished the game without allowing another MD hit. Our first HR on the night was from leadoff batter Hogan Denny who smashed the first pitch of the game over the right field wall.
  6. Women take the weekend opener 4-1 as Trout and Hess combine on a 5-hit, no BB game. We had 6 hits scattered throughout the lineup. Josie White had 2 RBI. Saturday with a 2:00 start.

  10. Wake Forest transfer guard Myles Colvin has committed to Cincinnati.
  11. Reports were pretty favorable we could land Brueggemann but not to be. Lindenwood transfer Ellie Brueggemann has committed to Oklahoma State. The 5-11 junior averaged 14 ppg and 3.1 apg this season, shooting 44% from deep.
  12. Eric Reibe was a Woody offer May '23; committed to UConn Oct. '24. He attended Bullis School in Potomoc, MD so KJ may have had contact with him at his previous stop.

  14. UAA kicks off its season next weekend (April 17-19) in Kansas City, MO. EYBL and 3SSB start the following weekend. As far as I can determine, Chase Branham is our only offeree playing on the UAA circuit.

EYBL (NIke): Phoenix, AZ 11 girls w/IU offers 3SSB (adidas): Bryan, TX 5 girls w/IU offers UAA: Manheim, PA 8 girls w/IU offers Handful of offers playing on other circuits or on a strictly independent team. Hopefully the 3 major circuits will provide game info as they have in the past.

  18. It's been hard to keep up with everything but do I remember correctly that Estrella has had some foot issues and if so, maybe that's why we weren't willing to go all in?

  20. That is the most likely scenario but it is possible that he and his people just want all communication to be directly with his agent and not with Sherrill.
