Home run derby in Terre Haute last night. Hoosiers hit 5; ISU hit 6. Hoosiers prevail 17-12. 8 pitchers gave up 15 hits and walked 6. We had 21 hits and ISU walked 11 IU batters; we ended up stranding 16 runners on the night. Koskie with the big bat with 4 hits (2 HR) and 5 RBI. Crouse, Malamazian and Decker each had 3 hits. 11-1 run-shortened game for our Hoosiers. An 8-run 4th inning was the nail in the Notre Dame coffin. Hooks and Troutt combined for a 2-hit, 1 BB game. We had 8 hits led by Parker with 3 and Goins with 2. Alex Cooper with 4 RBI on a 4th inning grand slam. We're at Louisville tomorrow night.
