In a pitching duel (NOT), Hoosiers win 20-10. 5 Hoosier pitchers allowed 14 Ball State hits, 6 for extra bases. Surprisingly, we issued just 2 BB in the game. Limited stats for the 3SSB event this past weekend in Bryan, TX. We have a very small number of offers who play on the 3SSB circuit. I so badly wanted Jakai to find success in the college game but it didn't happen at GA State. He averaged 17 min/gm and played 20+ in just 2 games both early in the season. 7.1 ppg on 33% FG, 26% on 3s, 82% FT 21 TOs vs 18 assists.

Boston University transfer Michael McNair has committed to Maryland. McNair averaged 16.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

As is typical for girls this young, there's just not much out there about her basketball background. She currently attends Brownsburg East Middle School in Brownsburg. Try something new this year. I think (hope) I can find at least some limited stats for our targets who are playing on the 3 major shoe circuits. Like with the boys there are a few girls who are playing on the lesser circuits and stats for them will be hit and miss. Every girl listed below is playing in the 17U EYBL circuit except '28 Khloe Nicholson who is playing 16U. '29 Kristin Winston is playing 17U and check out her stats for the first weekend. Not bad at all for as young as she is. Sydney Savoury also had a very good first weekend. I watched a number of her high school games this past season and to my untrained eye she's someone we'd love to have in Bloomington.
