  1. In the On3 story: "On3’s Pete Nakos confirmed that Sorsby placed bets on Indiana while on the Hoosiers’ roster in 2022." https://www.on3.com/news/texas-tech-qb-brendan-sorsby-taking-immediate-leave-of-absence-for-gambling-addiction/?fbclid=IwY2xjawRcg-VleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFoRmdIZ0VtY3gxblpFa0s4c3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHh1xSV1SiU6IFD03Tw_5FznX1o2itbt8YHxWlBrSjOCz9Fwwc3_d8jftaO0F_aem_uUHoLsJxsPtEORjeDs9STg https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/texas-tech-brendan-sorsby-gambling-addiction-program/?fbclid=IwY2xjawRcg-9leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeToagP31PlyiJr8AtIevMntdQEgRRru19sLLk3a-btrXZEdhJ8Oh_2yq3o4M_aem_gPG16sgpY1kb01d--vcIcg
  2. As I mentioned in above posts, some teams did not participate in the EBYL or adidas events this past weekend. I've since learned that the EYBL changed its requirement for number of games required to qualify for Peach Jam. Also, the DMV area had an event of its own and some of those area teams opted to stay home. Lastly, some teams opted not to send their 16U and 15U teams. 2028 - 6’2 G Josh Lindsay of Mokan (16U) had two strong performances today at the KC Showcase in Kansas City W vs. MN Comets / 16 PTS L vs. i4 Sports / 23 PTS (7 3FG)
  3. In the B1G women's golf tournament, Hoosiers finished 4th but unfortunately, PUke finished 3rd to pick up a point. Next up is the men's tournament May 1-3. We hold a 9.5 to 6.5 lead with 4 competitions remaining.
  4. Finkelstein on this past weekend's 3SSB event mentions Naz Anderson and Darius Wabbington. Also Antonio Pemberton a player we have looked at. https://247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/article/scouting-nasir-anderson-jalen-davis-darius-wabbington-and-3ssbs-top-2027-prospects-283246494/
  5. Stats for our 3SSB offers are pretty sparse. We have a very small number of offers out to kids who play on the adidas circuit and for whatever reason, a number of teams did not make the trip to California. The 3SSB circuit does not report turnovers. 6. And Iowa sweeps us in our own ballpark winning today 7-4. Yarberry and Seebold allowed 9 hits (4 extra bases) and walked 5. After Iowa's 6th, they led 7-1. We scored 3 in our 6th but we were done for the day. We had 11 hits but left 10 runners on base. As we limp towards the end of the season, we'll be at Louisville (25-18) Tuesday at 6:00. Televised on ACCNX. Radio Live Stats Our next weekend series is at Northwestern (16-24-1) (5-16). The following weekend we're at West Laffy and the season finale May 14-16, we host Illinois.
  7. Women get the series win with a 11-2 beatdown over the Wolverines today in a run-shortened game. Hess pitched all 5 innings and allowed 6 hits and 1 BB. We had 8 hits, 4 of which were for extra bases -- 3 HR and 1 double. Parker with a big bat with 2 HR and 4 RBI. Goins also with a big bat hitting a grand slam HR in the first inning and then later singling in another run for 5 RBI on the day. Wednesday night at 6:00 we host Evansville (21-24). Televised on B1G+. Radio Live Stats Next weekend concludes conference play hosting Illinois (14-35) (3-16).
  8. EYBL stats for this past weekend's event. Couple of teams didn't attend for whatever reason and this was not an event college coaches and staffs could attend. May 15-17, in Memphis is the next major event and that is where we'll start getting a feel for who our primary targets are as coaches and staffs can attend that event. 9. Just added Uvwo to my stat spreadsheet on that scouting report! @Demo and Sam Lance one and the same?
  10. Michigan led 9-6 after 6 complete. We got 2 back in our 7th but that was it and Michigan takes a 9-8 win. We used 4 different pitchers all of whom were touched for hits and runs. We had 10 hits. Strader went 3-4 and had 3 RBI. Bird and Mannon each with 2 hits. Go for the series win tomorrow at 1:00.
  11. 9-2 and Iowa sticks it to us again. Just 3 hits for our Hoosiers and Koskie's hitting streak comes to an end. 4 IU pitchers allowed 8 hits but 5 were for extra bases. We'll try to salvage one game Sunday afternoon. From an X account - Such a poorly coached baseball team...1st inning had 3 walks and 2 hbp and 2 pass balls...

  13. 12-2 Iowa sticks it to us pounding out 15 hits that included 4 HR. Neubeck started went 4 innings giving up 7 hits and 7 runs. 4 more IU pitchers gave up the other 8 hits and 5 runs. We had 9 hits but couldn't put them together and left 11 on base.
  14. Well, we're losing 7-2 but Caleb Koskie sets a new hitting streak record.
  15. Caleb Koskie back in the line up after missing Tuesday night. Batting third with a chance to set the all time Hoosier Baseball hitting streak at 22 games.
  16. EYBL and 3SSB weekend events underway. '28 Malachi White (City Rocks) scored 15 straight points in OT as City Rocks defeated AB Elite 102-94. White finished with 36 pts.
  17. Despite moving the start time up, still had to deal with a short weather delay but Hoosiers still won 8-4. Michigan led 4-2 after 5 but we scored 5 in the 6th and added another run in the 7th for good measure. Troutt and Hess gave up 8 hits but no BB. We had 9 hits with Cooper, Bird and Strader getting 2 each. VanBrandt, Cooper and Strader each 2 RBI. 4 of our 9 9 hits were HR.
  18. At the first AAU event of the year she played 17U and for 4 games: 12.3p, 4.0r, 1.8s 55% FG, 36% on 3s, 73% FT.
  19. Welcome aboard HPER. Glad to have you join in our merry band of IU fanatics. Hope you become a frequent poster.
