Home run derby in Terre Haute last night. Hoosiers hit 5; ISU hit 6. Hoosiers prevail 17-12. 8 pitchers gave up 15 hits and walked 6. We had 21 hits and ISU walked 11 IU batters; we ended up stranding 16 runners on the night. Koskie with the big bat with 4 hits (2 HR) and 5 RBI. Crouse, Malamazian and Decker each had 3 hits. ISU leads 5-4 and batting in the 3rd. They hit 3 HRs in the 1st inning all off Pete Haas. We hit 2 of our own in the 2nd and 1 in our 3rd.

11-1 run-shortened game for our Hoosiers. An 8-run 4th inning was the nail in the Notre Dame coffin. Hooks and Troutt combined for a 2-hit, 1 BB game. We had 8 hits led by Parker with 3 and Goins with 2. Alex Cooper with 4 RBI on a 4th inning grand slam. We're at Louisville tomorrow night.

Raby indicated Drew Adams deserves the credit on this recruitment. Also he and Bossi said this does not negatively impact the Sherrill recruitment. Bossi also said he expects news on Sherrill within 24 hours.
