I've stated on this board a few times that I thought MD could get mixed up in this. The Diamond Stone recruitment wreaked. -

I am completely unable to keep up with all the posts.. But is there some new substantial information about Romeo? Or are people just speculating based on the fact he is announcing on April 30th in New Albany at an open gym? -

All th allegations are out there but to this point has the NCAA even commented? If and when any penalties are ever levied on any of the programs involved, Romeo and the upcoming class will probabaly be long gone.. How long did it take the NCAA to do NOTHING about the UNC cheating scandal? -

Kansas is looking more and more like it could be the destination if Romeo wants to come in, get PT, and have a shot at a title. He and Grimes are similar players, but I'm sure they would find a way to get them both on the floor. -

Is there a date set for Romeo's final visit? -
Let's not forget Ozzie Newsome and the Ravens overspending and looking like a tanking franchise by continuing a string of bad free agent signings. This one was a doozy: Ryan Grant for $29MM over 4 years.. Unbelievable. The Ravens will have a hell of a battle for the WR3 spot this offseason. Problem is, there is no WR1 or WR2.
-
It's funny reading some of this content. Sounds eerily similar to the Ravens message boards. Both were supposed to be big FA spenders, both have done next to nothing to address holes to date.. At least the Colts most likely have the pick of the best non-QB in the draft outside of Barkley. Chubb? Minkah Fitzpatrick? There are some stud defensive guys coming out this year. The Ravens are in no-man's-land at #16.

The "insiders" around here are so desperate for attention. It's pretty gross. If you have legit information, what on Earth would keep you from posting it? Premium forum or not, if it's pertinent, legit information, what would possibly be the reason? I'm just curious. -
I don't understand it. Maryland had a couple dominant years in the ACC and like one good B1G season but haven't REALLY done much since the early 2000's. I live in Harford County, MD about 2 miles from John Carroll, where Immanuel Quickly played HS ball (Kentucky recruit), and got to see him and Jalen Smith (MD recruit) play a couple times during the Baltimore Catholic League season. Smith is a big man with skills and will probably be one of the best freshmen in the B1G next season. If he pans out, Turgeon may be around for several more years.
-
Well he's got a top 10/15 recruiting class coming in next year. There's a lot of folks in the state of Maryland calling for his head, but the Athletic Director situation at MD is up in the air (Kevin Anderson, the current AD is on a 6 month sabbatical). I think he's got at least one more season.

I just heard from my sister's, boyfriend's, cousin's, great aunt's co-worker that he heard three guys talking who go to school at New Albany and have chemistry class with Romeo's teammate's girlfriend and she said she may have heard the teammate say that Romeo could potentially be 51% IU - 47% Vandy - 2% Kansas, but wasn't really sure. -
There's a chance Fernando goes.. If he doesn't, MD is a Top 10 team in my opinion. If he does, they are still in the mix.
-
Not a fan of Turgeon but he can recruit his @ss off. A lot of MD fans calling for his head, but I doubt he goes anywhere unless this Diamond Stone FBI info leads to something.
-
Not to talk Big Ten Tournament or anything.. But man, Maryland has really underachieved this season. The Justin Jackson injury was huge, but I can't help but think this team should be in the B1G's top 6. Lot of talent coming back next season most likely. They will be one of the better teams in the conference in 2018-2019. Nickens and Cekovsky are the only seniors who see minutes.

Great article about what I've been talking about.. There are others that date back to before the whole FBI investigation thing. SB Nation ran one back in early 2017. I just want to reiterate that I hate this. I wish this was a utopian world where slimy agents, boosters, and coaches didn't exist. But sadly, it may become the reality. https://theundefeated.com/features/elite-high-school-hoops-prospects-should-stop-playing-the-ncaa-game-and-consider-the-g-league/ Looks like Lebron is on the G-League train too https://www.si.com/nba/2018/02/27/lebron-james-ncaa-corrupt -

I don't know about that.. Maybe some kind of minimum.. But remember, money from agents and endorsement deals would be legal.
