IMO, Dolson thought he had his guy. Dusty decided to stay . We can still hire someone good. The one thing that we have in our favor is the fact that we have such good NIL support . That should help lure in better candidates this time around.

I’m still sticking with my theory that when Dolson said he has his man , automatically everyone thinks it’s Stevens. Dusty ends up saying no, and we are back to hiring a search committee like previous years. Could be totally wrong, but never bought into Stevens .

If I was a guy that liked attention and was known for missing on things. I’d bet the other way this time on Stevens. Odds should be in Sam’s favor.

It does make sense why people would think it’s one of those two. Beard has been saying PRO IU stuff and mentioning Bobby Knight for awhile now. So obviously Dolson has that avenue covered. Stevens isn’t coaching and could easily give the nod behind closed doors. I’m no insider, but be prepared for Chris Beard. I’ll be hoping for Brad Stevens.
