I was just about to post this. Pretty incredible how terrible he has been at Georgia. I thought for sure he could do something there. Now I’m wondering if he makes it past this season? No excuse for those types of losses

We gave up almost 50 points in a half to a reAlly bad team. That’s frustrating and hard to fathom how we can do so well in one half and follow it up with a dud or vice versa. How does that keep happening?

Yeah, I was a little disappointed with the first half scoring but Indiana’s “o’lay” defense in the second half got it done. normally I would be pissed with such a putrid defensive effort in the second half but it got me paid!

This is awesome! Yes, can X be out of control, make questionable decisions and shots - yes. But, he is a game changer for us and the stats show that. he is far and away our best point guard and is an important player to keep on the floor

I do see a lot of standing around on offense. I can see where some lazy comments are coming from

I felt that way under Archie from very early on and was told by many I was wrong. That said, I understand how you feel but personally feel differently here. are we playing as well as we want, no, but we are 9-2 and and have a ton of basketball left to play. I think we will see this team make the tourney and sadly, that is the bar for me right now. Make the tourney every year under Woodson, sustain the program and then hand it off to someone younger like Fife to take it from there. Expecting a lot more this early on is tough for everyone.

My biggest takeaway from today’s game… Parker Stewart, if he isn’t shooting 5/10 three pointers is an absolute liability. Awful defensively, like worse than James Blackman Jr bad but without the firepower on offense

He’s possibly our second best player… I don’t think there is any chance Phin or Lander start over him nor should they

The bigger story is X. If he can learn to play aggressive without foul trouble, we won’t have to worry much about Phin and Lander. X should be playing 30 minutes or more and than this is all a moot point

I haven’t commented on this game at all, wanted to do so after emotions leveled out. it was nice to see fire from TJD, he’s always been good but sometimes lacked that killer instinct. it was also nice to see Kopp step up and be the player we hoped he would be. it was nice to see Stewart pull the trigger everytime he was open, no reason not to. that’s about where the positives end for me. Defense was horrendous. Albeit the first half was what burried us, we still never found a solution to the boeheims and what they do best. It was like watching the same play over and over and over - very frustrating. I’m very high on this team, several things to be happy about but our calling card… defense, was atrocious

One thing we haven’t seen yet is a tighter rotation. I would like to see TJD and XJ play 35 minutes - barring foul trouble they should be able to do that. They’re 21 years old in the prime of their fitness lives… no need to play Lander/Phinisee/Durr major minutes

XJ has that fight. I like Stewart but I’m not sure I see that same fire. Stewart should be getting off 7+ 3’s a game. He doesn’t hunt his shot like he needs to

Hmm, why? He has never shown much, pre-IU and at IU. I wouldn’t bet much on him being a key contributor. If we have to rely on him we will be in trouble

Durr doesn’t give us much at all, I think we’ve seen enough to know that. I would love to see Duncomb to see what our depth or lack there truly is. If Duncomb is worse than Durr we have no depth

Didn’t love the defensive effort nor game plan but glad to see we can win games where our defense is off helps to have one of the top 5 big men in college basketball

I am. He has never been a great 3-point shooter and as you suggested, his shot selection has been suspect. He’s also not hitting his open mid-range shots either. He won’t attack the basket so he is easy to scout. You get way more from Tamar right now offensively.

How does Leal earn legit minutes? We have Stewart that can shoot but beyond that it gets pretty spotty. Leal could be that second shooter on the grassy knoll if he can improve his defense
