  1. Yeah, we knew that unfortunately. “It’s not who starts” but unfortunately those that finish have to dig us out of a hole too often. A crazy thought though… what if, what if we started the same guys that finish and gave that group the lions share of the court time?
  2. You want him to reward good play and use the bench as a teaching tool? Crazy
  3. I agree. Geronimo and Galloway are better positioned to help us all around than Stewart and Kopp are, or I should say, based on how they are being used. they are both liabilities on defense and we don’t run enough offense through them to make their shooting matter. Look at how few shots they take, it’s not worth it. Stewart stood around for 32 minutes yesterday and only at the end started working to get open. If he played the whole game like he did the final 8, he would be worth keeping out there but that isn’t who he is
  4. Not really. Kopp and Parker are only serviceable if they are getting open looks regularly and actually volume shooting. they are rarely running plays to get them open and therefore are rarely open and rarely shoot and rarely useful. In today’s game, Parker stood around for 32 minutes and then finally decided to move and run off some screens and guess what… he was wide open and canned a few threes. Why did it take 32 minutes for him to move and create separation? He does that or sits, that needs to happen ASAP.
  5. I’ve been calling for more time from them too. They have both been playing well and will be key to our success this year and the next few seasons
  6. IT needs to get Woody to get him some better seats
  7. It was very nice to see! I don’t expect they will shoot that well moving forward but they can take care of the ball and if they can, we will continue to win
  8. Seriously, you downloaded the GIPHY app today no?
  9. Yep, I haven’t seen much out of a few guys this season but when they were needed most they were amazing!
  10. We don’t win without Phinisee and Durr i have been very hard on them and rightly so. I love the fact that they were able to rise to the occasion and guide us to victory. co-mvps Phinisee and Durr
  11. You have been. Gif machine today!
  12. His Defense isn’t that strong - middle of the pack and Offense is bench worthy
  13. Drink responsibly my friend:)
  14. They are going to need heaters - they will be frozen by game time
  15. You absolutely can. We don’t have a point guard currently. A point guard is our floor general, someone that leads, someone that puts us in a position to succeed, makes his teammates better. We don’t have that with Lander, Phinisee or Johnson. galloway is the closest thing we have to that. Is he Steve Nash, no, nobody we are going to trot out there is. We have the choice of continuing to see the same crap every game where we all come back here and say “damnit, if only we had a point guard” or we can work to change that. I prefer to be solution oriented and find ways to change our fate
  16. His extra minutes need to come from Durr.
  17. What? He isn’t improving and unleashed? You would think he he was all BigTen this year reading the board. Good thing we have eyes and stats
  18. Can you play around with the lineups to see if there is one that leads to IU winning 10 or more, thus tilting the scales in our favor?
  19. Haha, it was a bad joke about him being old. I don’t think he has many tricks or deception to offer, we would have seen it by now was my point. We don’t press, we don’t change up defenses, we don’t play a big lineup or small ball to combat what the other team has. We pretty much do the same thing every game, not much mystery in what we are going to do
  20. He literally does. Haven’t really seen much trickery or deception thus far, can’t imagine he waited a half a season to unleash it
  21. We have some flat earthers but I appreciate these
  22. If only that was super important. All turnovers are not created equal. A player that constantly pushes the envelop, going forward, looking to make plays is naturally going to have more turnovers than a player that makes lateral and negative dribbles and passes. X makes some things happen but Galloway is always looking to break down the defense off the pass, dribble and screens/cutting off the ball. Phin, not so much. I would rather play a guy that is going to push the pace, score and set up teammates and have 3 turnovers than a guy that holds onto the ball for 20 seconds, dribbling laterally, lulling his own teammates into paralysis and ending with 2 turnovers
  23. Fake news? These are the tools used by experts, vegas etc. Don’t have to believe it, I know you want the winning formula to include Phin but everything says “no”
  24. Algorithm says yes please!!!
