    I hated everything about the Archie years, slow, boring, ugly basketball, lacked fight… I see none of those right now and I am thrilled to see improvement in many key areas. still driving me crazy we can’t hit our free throws, but that is my biggest gripe

    I would start Xavier, Stewart, Bates, Race, TJD. Geronimo, Lander, Kopp off the bench durr doesn’t give us much. Not sure what people see with his passing, he cannot get his feet off the ground and tries to pass over the top and gets deflected regularly.

    Let’s temper this PU talk - they beat UNC who is getting throttled by Tennessee and they beat Villanova who now has two losses abs doesn’t look to be the same caliber team they usually are. I think they are good but beat two big names that were likely overrated.

    Villanova did it to themselves - credit Purdue as well but they stopped playing their game and even stopped hitting free throws

    There is a formula to beating Purdue and that is having bigs that run with purpose a la Cody Zeller or be able to step out and hit the 3 a la Bryant. TJD can do one of those. So in my opinion we need to speed the game up, cause turnovers and run on transition.

    Any tips on finding floor seats? Ideally feet on the court but within a row or two is good too. Haven’t seen any online

    Who is saying that? I think this team has shown they have the potential to be much better than last year and are already on that track. lots of improvements- the most obvious one is fast break/transition baskets. I cannot recall ever having more than 1 in a game with Archie and we are doing that a ton now

    I don’t love how this team lets their opponents hang around in the second half but they have closed so far and that is what matters. congrats boys and appreciate the coaches

    Anyone recall what Yogi and Hulls shot in high school? Both ended up being really good volume 3 point shooters in college, curious if Cupps is in line with where they were

    He will probably be somewhere near the size Kevin Durant was when he entered the league - 210lbs - averaged 20+ as a rookie at that weight. he will naturally gain weight as he gets older but don’t think it has much of anything to do with his success now or in the future.

    I’m partially teasing but can’t get over the suggestion that he is pushed around. The kid is is the 3rd beat player on the #1 team in the country and would be the best player on 300+ division one basketball teams. He’s very good and very likely the best freshmen in the country. if Tamar Bates was putting up those numbers I’m pretty sure IU fans would be geeked and not dismissive
