I am proud of the way he has come around lately. Hard for me to be a huge fan of him when he seemed to be playing more for himself than his team. Seems like he is playing like a true leader the past 11 games. He is playing into bigs and looking for teammates and playing solid defense. Couldn't ask for more lately

I don't see any reason to retain him no matter what happens this season or on the recruiting trail. His history suggests he is inconsistent and doesn't win big, he wins just enough to hang on. That isn't a recipe for success. I would rather take a gamble on another coach then hang on to guaranteed mediocrity. That said, I think he is safe as long as he makes the tourney. I think that is sad but true. At 15-3, even with the tough games ahead, that means he only needs to realistically win 6 more games all season to have a good chance at the tournament. I predict 24 wins on the season which isn't bad, but after enduring the past 2 years, it also isn't the climax most were hoping for (final four/1 or 2 seed)

I don't think so. JBJ going down just opened new doors for others on this team. Multiple players are benefiting from this and have new roles and more minutes. I think these guys are just getting into a rhythm. Will not be surprised to lose a lot of games at the end of our schedule but think we still have ~5 games left before we hit that Crean swoon that seems to always happen

yes! Zinch's memory is off here. Vonleh was an exceptional shooter and rebounder. His three point shooting was best of any center in college that year I believe

most of Iowa's players are not big time recruits, but Woodbury was. He was a top flight recruit that was a really big deal for them.

anyone saying there isn't booing isn't paying attention, isn't being honest or is sitting in the Tom Crean fan club section. The booing exists, have heard it at home, neutral sites and on the road the past 2 years. Some games are more noticeable than others but can't remember a game I haven't heard at least a few vocal people

Serious question about score keeping. It didn't matter today as it was a blowout, but what happens if a scorekeeper, refs, players, coaches, announcers don't notice the score is wrong as it was today? Can a score change after a game ends? Can you lose a game that you rightfully won because a scorekeeper mistake? Point is, IU scored 87 and it was marked as 85 and was never corrected or noticed by anyone. Never counted TB's bucket at 2:45 mark

I get it, you guys so a great job of keeping threads appropriate and on topic, was just confused as to why mine was singled out when there were a whole bunch of posts before and after mine that were very similar in nature. Regardless, I've watched a few videos and this kid seems like he is quite versatile and hearing comments from his coach about his pride in his defense makes me happy

My post was about Indiana vs east coast recruiting and about my excitement for Green and it was deleted I'm guessing for not being 100% about Green, only to have just about every post thereafter be about everything but Green and those are all still here. Like Crean, just asking for a little consistency
