  1. ew, tell us more about his slime
  2. this couldn't be further from the truth. IU fired 3 coaches that needed to he fired. There was no waiting with 2 out of the 3, specific incidents or actions necessitated it. Where they went wrong is in their approach and decision making that led to poor hires. It had nothing to do with poor timing and not waiting for the right hire. They have repeatedly f'd up the end game due to incompetence and motives... Not timing
  3. not my statement but as others have pointed out, Crean doesn't use the redshirt so the point is moot. However, I also agree that in Crean's system/way he manages rosters, if one doesn't contribute at all by the end if his sophomore year he is a dead man walking
  4. the last 5 was so bad it almost canceled out the precious 35.
  5. Who brings a weapon with them to a bar, especially on a Midwest college campus?
  6. No coaching background to back this up but would anyone chuck Crean to take a gamble on Jason Williams? I think he would be great but not much to support that other than a gut feeling Personally I would. Could see it being a huge success
  7. no offense taken. Bob knights grudge against IU is completely ridiculous at this point over 16 years later. I think even the biggest bob knight fans would agree with that. I feel like much of that adornment and obsession with him are gone or waning. I personally have no interest in the man as I think he has put himself and his grudge ahead of a lot of people that loved him
  8. i feel a bit dense for not following the sarcasm or irony. What grudge do IU fans hold? Are you referring to Bob knights grudge against IU? Obviously missing something in regards to this fanbase and grudges. Not being a smartass, just don't get it
  9. A little off topic but what are people's thoughts on Ainge/Florida marlins etcetera strategy of suck, build, win, suck, build, win...? That would be really difficult being a fan of a program that utilized that approach IMO
  10. he is still holding a grudge a decade later? Seems pretty petty if he is
  11. I like Drew as a candidate, definitely someone that should be explored
  12. no, not right now
  13. I was given tickets to the IU/MSU game this Sunday right behind the MSU bench with the stipulation I could not wear Cream and crimson... I'm very tempted to disobey
  14. Seriously, napping is a staple in college and you can't do it at all if you can't plan ahead
  15. one also can't plan for anything, like studying, napping, eating, pooping, hanging out with friends/girlfriend etcetera. He is ruining their college experience
  16. sad that is the bottom. We're all in the wrong business.
  17. crean has plenty of time to make $200k a year:)
  18. ctc has not turned anything around this year. We are for the third year in a row looking at being a bubble team or not making the tourney. We haven't played anyone yet. We have the softest 19 wins in IU history
  19. its not Crean... So it's kind of wide open once you acknowledge that much
  20. If IU makes the tourney, Crean is back. That's out bar at IU now... Sad
  21. Very poor performance all around. Nobody showed the heart or effort. Yogi looked terrible and like his heart wasn't in it today
  22. i haven't watched him and sounds like others have but it has worried me that his best skill is his shooting and he has had games with 0 and 1 made shots in high school against average teams. If he was known as a lockdown defender and rebounder/shot blocker I wouldn't be so concerned but he does none of those things well from what I hear. Did I make this up or did you allude to him perhaps never making it to IU? Too lazy to look for your comments on him but thought there was a reference like that made
  23. exactly! I have 2 D-1 college coaches in a different sport in my family. An assistant coach would never stoop to such a low repeatedly for years without the head coaches approval. It doesn't happen. Players are a different story but even then, yes, coaches likely know when their players are breaking the law and when they aren't in general.
  24. he knew or directed people not to tell him about these types of things. No way in hell coaches did this behind pitinos back.
  25. I'm still not in favor for him longterm but I can admit when he has done well and he, as well as the team did great tonight
