I would think if Fife is comming, he would be here by now. MSU has been done for a while. Does make sense that we are waiting on Lewis and probably "surprised" UCLA is in the finals. -
This year was tops for U of I. Loosing key players and going down. IU is on the upward trajectory. We all know the primary reason we sucked was Archie. Hell even with the Archie stand around and suck offense, if we just hit a few more free throws we win several more games. Arman would be foolish to leave.

He’s not looking at 1000 players. He’s got 2 maybe three spots to fill. Look at the top 50 is more than enough. But you know that.

The more experience you have, the less film you need to watch to evaluate a player. A couple of game films can do it and you can have assistants cut out the parts where the player isn't playing.

The best taunter in history is Larry Bird. Check the stories of him on Youtube. They are hilarious. He did it without being a punk. He's asking guys if their mothers are watching as he schools them.

They are fools not to give Woody a real listen to. All the other coaches out there are pikers -- tell you what you want to hear, and how great you are. Woodson is the only one with the credibillity to say "kid, this is what it's going to take."

We kinda have a prohibition on indentured servitude. Courts won’t make a person work a job. Stevens could have quit — he might have owed a few bucks but that’s all.

Actually, I'd like to see Woodson sign someone noteworthy from the portal. Put a fire up some of these players butts.

Well let me help him. ILL got bounced by a rec league team (ok maybe not, but you get the point). ND is a football school. Louisville going to be on probation. Absolutely, zero reason to leave IU.

I think it all comes down to money. He could go now and make a nice living -- as a backup or overseas. But stick around for a year, and he can be a first rounder and pocket the millions that go with it.

I’ve seen no indication that that is true. Has it ever happened before? Would be pretty historic.

What makes me nervous is we messed around with Stevens so long, we end up with several guys in the portal, and no assistant coaching staff to work recruiting, while transfers are starting to commit. I would have hoped we'd see some of our guys re-commit to IU after Woody met with them. Hopefully in the next few days. Would nice to land a big fish here soon though.

None of those guys where ever comming. You need a guy like Woodson to bring IU back into prominance.

Not a chance in hell this "fails." May not get another banner right away, as that is an extreemely difficult these days, but we'll compete in the big 10 and make tourney runs. Guarantee will be at least as good as Crean and Miller, and in all likelihood way, way, way, better. Any recruit that doesn't listen to Woody isn't smart enought to play at IU.

Isn't Louisville up for some discipline? Wasn't that why the Chris Mack rumors started?
