  1. Sometimes the sum of the parts is greater than the individuals.
  2. This is the kind of crap from coaches that drives me nuts. Great coaches adapt. And they should always be thinking about shaking things up -- if so and so can give us an advantage, then make the change.
  3. The problem I have seen is say parker gets in the TJD from about the free throw line extended. TJD back down, does some dipsy do's and draws the double team. But Parker just stands there at the same spot he passed from. TJD no longer can get the ball to Parker. All Parker needs to do is slide towards the corner to open up the passing lane. He does not. And the offense stagnates.
  4. Kopp or Parker on the move can make up for the lack of three point threat by Galloway. Unfortunately they play like they have cement shoes - they watch more than they move. Even if they slide a bit so TJD has a better passing angle. It just doesn’t happen.
  5. Kinda like a fly on an elephants arse. :)
  6. But are they really lighting it up. They both average about 7 ppg.
  7. I went to the game knowing full well it could be a let down. Team was flat. Several players looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but on the floor. They also had no gas left in the tank. Every shot, including layups, was short. Couldn’t buy a basket. Michigan on the other hand couldn’t miss. I agree with others. Miller and Stewart should be split up. Starting lineup should change based on matchups. Need more movement on offense. Need more attitude, which has been lost by years with that other guy. Like Woody says, “ it’s ok to be great.”
  8. My first reaction was "oh don't storm the court, act like you have been there." However, a few moments later it was what the hell it's a big big big win and as other have said, these kids haven't been there. Not to be overly dramatic, but Phin's shot is up their with the Keith Smart shot in 87. This was a big game for the program. It was the Woodson Hoosiers announcing their presence with authority. :)
  9. I think he realizes we really need his best going forward. And it seems to be pyschological with him. Woody is building a brand and recruits are watching.
  10. That was a fantastic game. I bailed on going, because oh lord I didn't have faith, and I apologize. Kid got there around 3. Phin redeemed himself and we all knew deep down that was the player he could be. The young kids played their arse off. Who needs TJD? Ok, we do. But it's nice to see the next man step up and the team get er done. Who's next -- pisshigan.
  11. And living in a van down by the River. :)
  12. Did you see the smile on that mans face. !!!!!!!!
  13. Yeah. that was my reaction. Somewhere in that mob is my kid who is a senior. Finally got to see a beat down of purdont.
  14. This was the game to change that polilcy. Wasn't the a Knight principle -- if a sub plays good in the first, he could get the start in the second.
  15. I called it. Said go double or nothing on Phin after he missed the first one.
  16. What are you going to do. Head down to the HYPER and recuit someone off the court? :)
  17. So does Woody’s wardrobe qualify as a suit or no suit?
  18. Can’t fife or mata say “ hey mike we need to rethink the substitution strategy. “
  19. Easier said than done. Especially on an inter web message board.
