I don’t think Ware is a true post player. Yes he can do it, but his a$$ isn’t big enough. Against wider bigs he’ll have his issues. BUT, what makes him interesting is his ability to hit from outside. We have been missing that. So they can’t just play him like TJD. They need to play him like Kel el ware.

That’s on Woodson. He said from the beginning he wanted an outside offense. He dumped it inside the last two years because of TJD. He and race are gone and we are playing the same damn thing. The best coaches adapt. Woody did so last two years. This year not so much.

Sorry to say it, but only one kid came to play today. Our “seniors” suck. This is a game they have to lead. Instead they pooped their diapers.

Watching some videos of him, poor fella looks totally lost on defense. My own opinion is CMW needs to find a spot to give him a little leeway to get is sea legs under him. Needs to adjust to the speed of the game. Hopefully a blow out win will allow him to do that.

Great, but you where claiming basically he wasn't fast/athletic enough to play in the Big10. I was just asking if you knew his "combine" numbers. You don't and are basing it on what you see. No problem, just remember -- who you going to believe, me or your lying eyes? :) And I'm not much for stats 2 games in. And not 100% sure of their value over a short college basketball season. You generally need a sample size of 20+ to be statistically relevant.

Correct me if my memory is mistaken, but wasn't that the rub last year. He kind of walked the ball up, slow to get going. While JHS really moved it up with speed and authority.

Dude is dead on. Hope they can work on the film study stuff -- there is an art to it and does take some time to click for some guys, especially if they didn't do much of it in HS.
