    We go entire games without hitting this many 3's, and Woodson finds a way to make sure all three guys who made them are off the floor when we've only been called for 2 fouls the entire half. Amazing.

    Might be my imagination too, but I'm pretty sure the same thing happened the year Crean was fired. All kinds of sentimental word salads about how he brought us back from the depths, bad look to fire him a year after winning the Big Ten, etc.

    I got slammed on this board once for saying Crean is insecure and it was reflected in the way he ran the program. All these years later I stand by what I said.

    Maybe they should actually address the real problem and find a coach who won't be so roundly criticized instead of asking these people to stop saying mean things about the one they have now.

    Makes sense. I'm just trying to imagine being a high school basketball player in a place that idolizes them and going 2 states west to a state with fans who are more interested in wrestling.

    How does Iowa always seem to have at least one player on its roster from Indiana that wasn't on anyone's radar until he landed at Iowa? If you're a 2-3 star recruit playing in Indiana, what is the draw to Iowa? Does Iowa just focus more on players in this state that aren't getting many looks from IU and Purdue?

    I think they got in with 17 wins, which seemed absolutely crazy. Naturally, our fans pitched a huge fit about it and their fans mocked and ridiculed us. Then, because the college basketball universe just HAS to work this way no matter what, they ended up going to the Sweet 16 while St. Mary's took our lunch money and gave us a swirly.

    Not having teams that suck out loud the year after having teams that are actually good would be a nice place to start.

    Can't understand how anybody at IU would think another year of Woodson is going to benefit anyone but our opponents.

    I'd say it's actually pretty normal behavior for a high energy recruiter who wants to continue to build relationships and stay visible in the public eye. You know, stuff that successful coaches do. I did hear that Woodson actually went to a high school game earlier in the week, though. Someone must have poked him with a stick or something.
