    I could totally see Woodson jumping at the chance to keep coaching and delay the transition to his replacement. I also think he'd relish the chance to brag about how the team is winning again and how he turned it around. Officially we turned down the NIT last season, but our metrics were so bad we weren't getting a bid anyway. Turning it down was a PR move.

    If we had lost, Purdue would have been in 3rd place. They'll probably still win the conference anyway, but that would have been kind of neat to see.

    He was always an interesting read. He had this weird prejudice against players from the East Coast. I think those complaints also extended to students at IU.

    IsaacTor had ONE post on this board before today, and it came on 3/6/24, at 3:17 p.m. It was announced around 7 p.m. that night that Woodson was getting another year. Something to consider.

    If you saw the third quarter the other night, you'd find it impossible to believe this team could have 4-5 minute scoring droughts every game, but they do.

    This talk about Dolson "having his guy" is reminding me of when people thought Keion Brooks had secretly signed his letter of intent to play at IU. That ruse went on for weeks and people actually believed it.

    I think it's because we had Bob Knight here for so long. When we're on the road, down 20-10, the opposing crowd is going wild and the refs are playing along, they want to see a coach reacting and chewing people out, not being Archie Miller.
