  1. After beating Purdue last night, Ohio State tied the all time series record at 94-94. Purdue had won 36 in a row when leading at the half.
  2. I just try to be indifferent until the games end. It really sucks to be in this position. The worst part is seeing other fanbases enjoying their teams and laughing their a$$es off at us rooting and hoping for losses.
  3. ...who is currently controlling a road game against a team that embarrassed us. How does Minnesota, with a fraction of our talent, manage to do this? I'd ask Woodson, but he'd probably just say he wished he knew.
  4. Iowa getting curb stomped at home by Minnesota. I wish we had a coach who was angrily watching that and wondering how Iowa beat us so badly instead of smoking a cigar and not really enforcing the team's curfew.
  5. Two and a half hours for a non-OT game. Big Ten refs are so used to Purdue winning at home they must have needed more time to write the obituary.
  6. Love that Purdue had to waste time at the end fouling because refs don't call fouls on them in Mackey they hadn't fouled enough to put OSU in the bonus yet.
  7. Purdue's last home loss was against us.
  8. We blew out NU in Archie Miller's first season. We've beaten them 3 times since then by a total of 9 points.
  9. Archie Miller getting blown out like he's Mike Woodson or something. Down 22 at home to VCU with 3 minutes left.
  10. Didn't Archie Miller leave at 5 p.m. every day too? This program needs a workaholic in the worst way.
  11. Why were they even kicking a field goal anyway? They'd still be down 2 scores.
  12. This game is over. Notre Dame isn't stopping this offense.
  13. Well, Woodson ghosted McNeeley after he signed. Not like the family would be spending any time communicating with Woodson.
  14. 6 years ago today was the last time we lost to Purdue.
  15. Because then he'd have to find someone else, meaning he'd have to work and use energy.
  16. Man, I felt from the beginning that Woodson is a lazy recruiter, but this just confirms it. Walking away from a 5 star recruit because he "might" not be interested? Unreal.
  17. I mean, it is IU we're talking about here. So all bets are probably off. But the more I think about it, the more it's reminding me of all the "soft landing" talk when Crean was here. All this talk about how people behind the scenes were trying to help him get a job lined up so he could resign and transition to his next gig. Not only was he fired, but he didn't coach for a year, so it was likely just a bunch of fabricated garbage.
  18. If they're that concerned, then the outcome of Wednesday's game shouldn't matter. Typical IU if that's the case.
  19. It's probably a former player that no one talks about, like Al Durham or Rob Phinisee.
  20. I don't think we've had a coach who could influence officials since Knight. Davis would just laugh when his teams got hosed. Sampson wasn't here long enough for me to remember what he was like. Crean didn't have time for the refs because he was too busy clapping, chugging Diet Coke, and yelling at his players, or some combination of the three. Miller just stood and stared. Woodson is Bigfoot to the refs now because he just sits on the bench most of the time.
  21. And it doesn't matter now, but Watkins traveled on that shot to end the 3rd.
  22. 37% shooting wasn't going to get it done today. We held them to 39% and that kept us in it. The silver lining is that we probably aren't going to see anyone with that much talent again this year.
  23. Our inability to score for several minutes at a time is going to lose us this game.
  24. Looks like we're in another one of our patented dry spells again.
  25. I want to see a replay of Parrish's shot at the start of the quarter. That was the longest 2 I've ever seen.
