I'm having a hard time believing that Mark Few is actually interested in the job. He's been at Gonzaga forever and has had countless opportunities to move on.

People get too hung up on Stevens not coaching since whenever. He hasn't forgotten how to do it, and it's not like he's been in a different profession. He'd also surround himself with high-quality assistants, unlike the Archie Miller morons we've been stuck with for the past 8 years.

File this one under "Man, that win doesn't look so good anymore." Stanford is 11-10 and down 50-15 at the half to Notre Dame.

Because he and Chris have been wrong before. I appreciate what they share with us because they don't have to do it, but every time we think IU is finally going to get something right, it almost always fails to happen.

I know Moren hates playing the bench, but it would be nice to give the starters a break. Big Ten games where you're up by 30 aren't exactly a weekly occurrence.

I want him gone now so that nothing can happen the rest of the season that might save him. I think he wants this job and will point to anything to keep it. Just watch, 5 game winning streak just like last year and his camp is lobbying for year 5. Don't give him any chances. Fire his @$$ now and be done with it. Amicable departures are for losers.

I bet they're scared to death Woodson will badmouth the program after he's gone, and that's why they're so desperate for him to step down. Losing program doing losing program things.

Dolson is lucky I'm just a fan on a message board and don't have access to his office, or else I'd be pounding on his door screaming at him to FIRE WOODSON AND DO IT NOW. Seriously, this is so incredibly lame and what losing programs do.

No extra eyes, arms or other body parts, though. It's getting better!

Hoosier Nation on scout.com, run by John Decker. This was during Crean's early years. At some point, a new moderator took over and nobody liked him, so we bailed. I think one group started a new Hoosier Nation, but the site got too crowded and they had to make the current one. I don't remember how BTownBanners came to be.

Scott, people have crapped on the administration for years (and deservedly so). They'll keep doing it now, and they'll continue to do it when our next coach loses games and the football team inevitably has a regression year. Not sure why that gets you so worked up.

If we don't hear anything by the end of the day, I'm going to assume it's all nothing and our echo chambers have worked their magic once again.

I couldn't believe how much chatter there was on this board when Beard got arrested and I can't believe there's this much back and forth about it now. Incredible, really.

Damn, I click on this thread for juicy rumors about our next coach and how close we may be to getting rid of our current one...not to read all this morality mumbo-jumbo about Chris Beard. Don't get me wrong, I could get behind him if he became our coach. But this reminds me of when his big incident went down while he was at Texas and for a solid week, it was all anyone talked about on the College Bball thread. Day after day I'd click on the thread, and it was just post after post discussing the incident and the legalities of what he did. It was a slow time of the season (week before Christmas) so there weren't a ton of games going on, but I remember feeling annoyed because I simply did not care about any of it. Now...back to searching for more bread crumbs that will eventually lead me to Woodson's dismissal.

I can't remember if I said this when Crean was here, when Miller was here, or if perhaps I said it with Woodson. But imagine what it's going to feel like when we have a coach that actually coaches in a way that gives his team the best chance of being successful. We're going to think he's a savant when really he's just doing what countless other coaches would do.

He's about 4th or 5th on my list, so it'll probably end up being him.

Along with bewilderment about why we're so upset since we only lost by 12.

I think we get drilled. We got up for the last game because it was a rivalry game...nothing significant about this one. I expect an emotional letdown that could get out of hand quickly if we let it.

If what Chris told us a few weeks ago was true, I still can't believe we let one of our trustees tag along and nuke the whole meeting with his asinine comment.

Of all the times we've been homered beyond belief on that court, that one may have been the worst. We outplayed them for most of the game and I think we were up in the second half, then the refs do what they always do when Wisconsin needs help: start calling fouls away from the ball late in the shot clock. We were down a couple in the last minute and needed a stop, they missed, and Zeller got thrown to the floor. No whistle, we had to foul, we go on to lose. Wisconsin fans then brag about how their style allows them to get calls.

Pretty crummy birthday for this thread. The wrong school announced its geriatric coach is stepping down after the season. Post after post from a Woodson apologist crapping on the fanbase. And I had to be careful reading this thread while at work because somebody posted a picture of some random coach and his wife and the damn thing got quoted like 20 times. Hopefully extending our losing streak in Madison to 20-something tomorrow night brings us some new material.

We're always a step slow with everything we do and we have to watch someone else do it first. Hopefully this gets something going here.

This thread turns a year old tomorrow. May it be filled with juicy rumors that keep me from getting anything done at work.
