20/21 from the free throw line won the game. Take any of Miller or Woodson's teams and give them 21 free throws, and most likely they make 13 or 14. A lot of Big Ten games are decided by one or two possessions, meaning when you leave 6 or 7 points on the floor, close wins become close losses and you wonder how you only went 12-8 in the conference.
A play in 3 acts:
Act I: This sucks. Gonna be a long year. Our roster just isn't good enough.
Act II: Nice to see some adjustments being made, and some hustle, too.
Act III: Can't wait to watch this team grow and develop!
Indiana 30, Oregon 20...Oregon 56, Rutgers 10...Rutgers 27, Purdue 24
Indiana 20, Iowa 15...Iowa 41, Minnesota 3...Minnesota 27, Purdue 20
Not making any predictions, but I think we have a pretty good idea how the Bucket Game will go.
The media only remembers Braden Smith's performance against Houston last year and not his 6-turnover blowout loss to IU.
They'll have at least one game in the non-con where they look amazing and our fans crap their pants over it...same as every year.
I really want to believe this staff has a solid plan, and we're not just chasing talent and getting outbid late in the game, because that's what it feels like to me.
