    We had full games last year where the entire team hit fewer 3's than Tucker DeVries has made in the first half today.

    This game gave me vibes of last November when we lost to Butler and Harvard. Hate to say it but I think this is going to be a lot like last year where Moren has to squeeze blood from a turnip and we struggle to reach 20 wins.

    Lol, Kenpom dropped Purdue from #1 all the way to #7. But the AP voters will still rank them #1, just watch.

    Won by 10 against a team that Michigan beat 121-78 the other night. The media loves them so it won't happen, but there has to be somebody else that's more deserving of the top spot right now.

    Archie Miller's first game here was a blowout loss to Indiana State. Mike Woodson's first game went down to the wire with Eastern Michigan. Darian DeVries got to watch his son score his 2,000th point in a game that was over after about 5 minutes.

    Last year's season opener, I watched with only lukewarm interest, and turned it off after Galloway had a breakaway layup and lost the ball out of bounds. This year, I plan on watching the whole game. This is nice.

    Need to go to quarters, which they'll never do. I've seen women's games that took an hour and 40 minutes.

    We started that season #10 in the AP Poll, and went on to lose 12 games. There were some fun moments, but I would hardly say that group overachieved.

    Games should only take about 2 hours, but these days it’s more like 2:15-2:20 because of all the extra timeouts and replay reviews.
