Michigan currently has Kenpom's #1 defense. A popular criticism of Michigan a year ago was that they couldn't play defense. I guess Dusty figured something out.

Last night, KSU had a player step inside the arc for a long 2 after an IU defender closed out on him. I found myself thinking "good, we want them shooting that" then realized how many times our opponents probably said that over the last four years.

Was this game a one off, or a home and home? At KSU would be a nice early season test next November. -
It's not an offensive foul if the defender leaves his feet.

Just curious, what are the other things he has? Because he obviously doesn't run an offense that works, a defense that works, or have teams that can shoot threes or free throws. Seems he's missing a lot more than basic human emotions. Also, he loves his cupcakes. Another year with a non-con SOS in the 300's.

There have to be guys out there who can score goals in the postseason. We just never seem to find them. -
In a 4 point game with 12 minutes left, Ball State got two technical fouls five seconds apart. Michael Lewis had a good first season there. Ever since, they've sucked. It seems he's stuck in the 1990's and has no idea how to build a program in today's environment.

Minnesota and Rutgers are both a$$. If our staff wants to be accepted here, it would be in their best interest to not lose to either of them.

IMO this is a nothing burger. None of these guys have played a full season together, and I don't think it's out of the ordinary for some players to be that way when they aren't playing well.

Just wait until Matt Painter starts harvesting 22 year old freshmen that become 26 year old fifth/sixth year seniors. In addition to his fetish for foreign skyscrapers, he also loves having old teams. It's only a matter of time before he finds a way.

Hopefully the Hall will have a little more energy and the team will feed off of it. The place was an absolute morgue tonight.

DeVries was pissed after the game Sunday. My guess is the last few days of practice were rough and we're seeing the effects of it now.
