Who could be the Buddy Hield or Denzel Valentine of 2017? OG Anunoby #2 linky I like the confidence, I don't see him as a scorer like Hield. I do believe that he has the skill set to become one of the best players of the year though. I'm excited to watch him next season.

We talked about that song. Dan Donegan (sitting with his gorgeous wife) said his young son told him the song was terrible when he first heard their cover of it. Said it sounded like a heavy metal band trying to sing a country song. We all laughed. I agreed, it seems like a random pairing, and asked them why they chose it. They said they knew they wanted to do another cover song and talked it over as a group. They all agreed they wanted to do a song from that era of music so they just played a bunch in jam sessions to see what one worked. Also in the room was a group out of California called Stitched Up Heart. A couple of really sexy girls are in that one

Last night was Disturbed / Shine Down / Chevelle / Ghost / Sick Puppies I had 13th row seats off the corner of the stage. Then I had backstage passes for Disturbed. After the show my pass got me into the meet and greet lounge in the bowels of Amelie Arena. It was a room that was about 20 x 20, me...a buddy...about 5 other people...hanging out with Disturbed and Sick Puppies with a refrigerator full of free beer and couches. David Draiman is a very nice, polite, quiet guy. Not at all how I imagined. The life of the room was Dan Donegan, lead guitarist. These guys kept asking if they could bring me another beer. Disturbed. Begging to give me more free beers. What an awesome night.

I haven't read this whole thread because I'm having a hard time with this site. On my computer, it keeps kicking me off to where I need to sign on with every page I view. On my phone, I can't go to the last unread post in a thread, it takes me to the most recent post instead. Then I have to just guess which page to jump to.

It was a fun/frustrating season. Definitely memorable, thanks for the Big Ten title. Bad Troy first half, good troy second. Yogi was hit or miss. Bielfelt played really well. We were minus 2 starters! Bottom line is we gave up 101 points. We scored enough to win, but we gave up 101 points. I thought it was a typical Tom Crean tournament game, but then again I'm not sure what that is anymore. I'm so on the fence with Coach.

Before this year I liked Coach K, now he really annoys me. He's a hypocritical drama queen. He publically lectured that Oregon player, Tom Crean, Max Bielfelt. Meanwhile he publically defended Grayson Allen's intentional trippings. One day soon I hope another coach or player publically calls him out.

If Momma Bryant was the decision maker, Thomas wouldn't have been at IU.    I'm expecting OG to test the waters too unfortunately.

The IndyCar season officially starts today!  First race of the year is at 12:30 on ABC.  We have no basketball to watch...so this is what my tv will be on.   I only follow this race and the Indy 500, but I'm hoping some of the posters who follow the series can help keep us updated here.   These cars are so much louder now than in the previous couple years, was there a big change in the offseason?  The last two years I couldn't hear them from my house, today they're so loud I have to crank up the tv with my windows open.   Pole position today belongs to Will Power who broke the track record in qualifications.
