How about a PM Then? :) -
Is he the kind of guy that takes on a challenge or not? Nationally people thought of him as ready. If he didn't think he was ready then that may speak more about him. And the Washington St. coach "not interested" in the Indiana job? Please. http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/02/26/is-tony-bennett-a-viable-candidate-for-iu/ "Pat Forde of ESPN.com called Bennett the best candidate almost immediately after Sampson stepped down." He was ready.

Is Coach Crean Indiana's Best Option?
ElectricBoogaloo replied to IU Hoosier41's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Good God I hope not. -
Marshall might be just as weird as Crean. I'm done with weird coaches for a while.

Changes needed to the basketball team other than
ElectricBoogaloo replied to yogisballin's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The Crean teams have always played soft but OH MY GOD did they play soft against Louisville. OG is the perfect example. Just played soft and got bullied by guys his size or smaller all game. Finally had the drive and jam near the end of the game. Where was that the first 35 minutes? JBJ is a soft marshmallow. Edit: recruiting miss on Donovan Mitchell didn't help either. -

Official 2016-17 IUBB Preseason Thread
ElectricBoogaloo replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Did anyone see this Tom Crean Q&A summary on ITH? http://www.insidethehall.com/2016/10/03/notes-and-quotes-from-tom-creans-friday-media-availability/ Doesn't sound like JBJ has progressed a whole lot: Whenever I hear a coach talking about making things "simpler", I start to worry about that player. -
Again, HIPPA isn't some overarching law that suppresses even the allusion to medical information. There is a very specific definition for what is protected health information. They are absolutely allowed to say whether they expect him to be out for the season or not.
-
HIPPA does not prevent them from saying he is out for the season. That statement doesn't include any protected health information and is a lot less specific than the statement they released yesterday telling us that he had knee surgery.

So why all these comments from the program about how hard it is to lose Collin when they haven't said anything about the injury itself? It certainly sounds like a season ending injury but for some reason they won't just come out and say it.
-
This really sucks. Collin was a very solid player last year and I think we all expected him to be an important rotational player or 6th man.

(2017) SF Justin Smith to IU
ElectricBoogaloo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
If it hasn't been mentioned before, Adlai Stevenson is consistently one of the best public high schools in the entire state of IL when it comes to academics. -

Let's get those dominoes started! -
Want to add any more straw to that man?

Kudos to the program and university for taking decisive action.

While others have already pointed out that Enis admitted to it, the Indiana football program is not a court of law. There is no "innocent until proven guilty" due process for a football roster. He can be kicked off the team immediately.
