I mean we can get excited in the s moment but this isn’t a bad thing. He was going to be a project and apparently this isn’t really a decomitt. It’s more of a hey son we are moving on and thank you for sticking with us, but we feel there are better prospects so you should probably open back up and find another place to play. Supposedly his film from this year was eh not that great. I reached out to some recruiting people that I’ve met in the past and have created relationships with and basically there’s a reason the coaches have extended several offers over the past few weeks to juco players and other 2019 OL players. Coaches didn’t liked what they saw this season from him. A regression let’s say and the coaches are back on it with Kaleb Boateng (nasty OLineman imo) and several Jucos to go along with several kids from Georgia we just offered. Expect them to add 3-5 more lineman.

Yes projects as a WR on offense and safety on defense. Raw talent. Speed isn’t a question here. It’s where does he fit. He’s a hs QB similar to that of Reece...just a poor mans reece Taylor. Plays in a lower division of wisky football as well. Didn’t camp a lot this past summer. From what I’ve read and heard from people and podcasts is Wisconsin offered early and he didn’t jump to take the offer so basically everyone backed off and we jumped on. Intriguing prospect in my eyes.

Notes about iowa.... we have some key injuries and we’ve had them for the past couple of weeks. We all know who is or might be questionable or a game time decision. However, Iowa is in a pickle. 2 starting LBs were listed as likely not to play this weekend....one left with what looked like a knee injury or a stinger....the other is most likely definitely out for this game (I forget names and I’m tired of flipping back and forth from app to app. Also, Their other starting LB Amani Jones will miss the first half due to a targeting penalty. Their RB left the game late last weekend with concussion like symptoms he has led the team in rushing the last 2 games. Noah Fant their stud TE is listed as also questionable. Now back to the defense. Last week two frosh DBs one being Julius Brents had to step up and fill in for upperclassmen who had some injuries, they had pretty solid games. It is looking like Iowa will most likely rely on them early in the game as well and they are looking to get starts. I think it it will be interesting to see who will be there and dressed for Iowa. Becuase if I’m not mistaken for non conference this year you could take as many players as you want and for conference it is limited and smaller amount than years past.

Will use him like Reese as stated above. Offensive weapon. Return specialist. Will he used more as a speed type back as well. If you watch his tape as a WR he shows great vision and isn’t afraid to initiate contact.

Even though MSU only lost 3 starters..... and have only played 2 games their defense doesn’t seem to be as athletic or fast. I watched their first two games and granted every team typically looks slow in first game, but they still looked off against ASU. LJ Scott has not looked like his dominant self to start the season either. I’m sure Coach Dtonio got into them good during the bye week, and I don’t think this game is a cakewalk but I think the Hoosiers have made strides since our week 1 showing. A typical Hoosier team would have found a way to keep BSU in the game. Look back to 2016 when IU was up 30-0 and BSU came back to make it 30-20. There’s just something different about this team that is very young. I’m not trying to blow smoke or hype this train up even more but I have a feeling that this team is something special I’m not saying go into buckeye land and upset buckeyes, but I believe this team can hold its own with some of the year in year out high caliber big ten teams....Iowa, MSU, Michigan even given what they have done in recent years. I’m excited and we have a legit shot at getting to 4-0 this Saturday starting at 7:30.

I’m going to attempt to come down for the game I’ve been under the weather since Tuesday. Docs said it’s a virus but don’t know what. I’ve broke my fever during the day but at night during sleep it comes back lol. Fevers have been 102-103.5 lol. But I can’t stand to miss another home game after not being able to go last weekend due to a wedding in MN. Come on meds. Go Hoosiers.

I think they keep karlafstis (spelling is wrong ik). He wants to play at home and good for him. He will be a stud. The others I don’t know much about I know we semi recruited Stephen Fauchenaux early and often but we fell off early as well. Idk about the kid from detroit. Mershawn Rice (high 3 Star) we were heavily into before he gave his verbal. I haven’t heard how involved we still are there. I doubt we are as we have several good WR targets left on the board. Tj Sheffield, we were semi involved enough to get his attention but I don’t think he was a true player in this class until we tried to make a run after ND took back his scholly or whatever happened there. Ik Purdue was always heavily involved. That’s about what I know on most verbals in Purdue’s class. I’m sure they will keep most kids but I could see maybe 1-2 leaving if purdue doesn’t have a stellar year. Brohm is a great recruiter but so is Allen and I think some people need to give him some credit where it is due. I’ve seen people still dog on Allen even tho I think this recent class and this class he’s building now is a couple of the most impressive classes since I’ve followed IU football. Rankings are mid 40s basically. It’s not too 30 but I’ll take what we are getting.

Today all I’ve seen is people ***** and moan about coach Allen running over to the students and high fiving them.....on all platforms of media. If that really bothers you....do you really care about IU football getting better and did you watch last nights game. Despite the awful weather that team fought and finished, yet that’s what you’re judging his coaching on.....high fives.....lol then screw you “football fans”. Tom Allen once again wants to be here. He wants to see this team win and most teams in the past would’ve gone fetal position and found a way to lose that game. Allen cares for his players and he cares about the fans, he doesn’t just care about “football” because that’s what “football guys” do. At IU you actually need a coach that cares for all facets behind the team. Maybe if fans actually showed up in good weather games.....as well....people wouldn’t be calling him a cheerleader.....those fans and students deserved some type of thanks and y’all wanna moan about how he did it....I thought it was awesome and he actually shows he cares. If this was CKW he would’ve gone out afterwards and gotten drunk and cussed fans out. Lol get a clue. Support a man who wants to be here. Knows how to coach defense and most of all cares for fans and his players.
