  1. Keep your options open in the face of uncertainty until new information helps direct your decisions. He must've received advice or feedback no one else is privy to. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  2. Huge blow for Louisville. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  3. If you have LeBron James on your team, and you're still losing, that's a front office/roster issue. LeBron has given his all and shown how far he can take a team on his own. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  4. You mean when he had his first stint on the Cavs team when he led them to their first Finals appearance in his fourth season in the NBA? Or when he won back to back titles and went to the Finals four years in a row with the Heat? Or when he carried the Cavs in 2014-2015 with Kyrie and Love injured? Or his championship last year? That 2016 Finals series was one of the single most impressive individual efforts in sports. He's a winner and has proven he can win with the right players around him. I don't think it's a "narrative" or that he's acting like a clown by demanding an adequate supporting cast. I was not a fan of younger LeBron's antics, but he's matured and has definitely earned the right to make these demands and expect a good team around him. 5. Seems like a pretty petty take. The guy goes all out to win, and he's be crucial to multiple titles on multiple teams. It's not whining, he's demanding and he's earned it. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  6. There are certain individuals to pay attention to. Also, its more of a "as of now" weather forecast. If CB is leaning IU, safe to assume we're in the drivers seat at this time. That can obviously change. I think the CB is a really solid tool and really great at allowing everyone to visually understand the up and down swings in a player's recruitment. 7. The guy is being told they need a PG for the second unit with Duval likely coming in as well. With Jackson wanting to play PG, kinda seems like a subtle "good luck in the NBA!", but maybe I'm misinterpreting. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. This makes...... no sense. Sorta seems like he's also trying to tell Jackson to leave. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  9. In complete seriousness, we may need Priller to step up and play some minutes this year. Our frontcourt depth is very limited. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  10. Yeah but I heard Tom Crean sold it to them. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  13. As a Packers fan, this has been an excellent draft thus far Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  14. Yeah 18 year old smokes pot and jokingly messes with his roommate and his other jerk buddy takes it too far. Happens every day. Crean was the adult in the situation. Troy was just a stupid kid being a stupid kid. Seems like he's grown a bit. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

  19. Thanks! You're always on top of that [emoji108]🏼 I meant more of the analysis regarding Cody's impact on the team's effectiveness. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  20. Stats? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  21. I get why everyone wants to claim this recruiting approach is suddenly flawless and perfect and strategically sensible, but maybe just wait to jump to these conclusions after Archie has signed his own class. Historically, Archie hasn't had a ton of bigs on his Dayton rosters. Over the past three seasons at Dayton he's had one true center who was the only guy 6'9" or taller. 22. To your last point, there's a lot less need/pressure to get a walk on player back on the field than a contributor/starter. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  23. Robert Phinese said recently he plans to commit in the fall. CAM has some work to do to build up a strong relationship. Really hoping we land this kid. Would love to have a strong multi-year PG on the roster for CAM to mold. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. You keep doing you. I'm honestly not even sure what your rambling is trying to convey. Between Phinese, Langford, and Garland, they are all excellent options for various reasons. It seems you are trying to discredit Langford and Garland because they're ranked highly and you believe that rankings are bogus and indicative of "me first" players. Like Phinese being ranked lower is actually a positive reflection of his ability to contribute to the team versus Langford. Clearly I don't understand your point. Is your point in referring to Oladipo and Heyward that if I do research I'll find that on average lower ranked players have greater success in college than higher ranked players? I don't need to conduct research to tell you that would be incorrect. Oladipo and Heyward are great examples of underrated players who worked hard and rose above their rankings over their years in college. Also, saying something is relevant is not hardline. There's varying degrees of relevance. Irrelevant is a single hardline value of zero. Additionally, if you are uncomfortable with my questioning of your logic, either ignore me or don't post. It's not stalking; it's a message board. If you are unable to defend your opinions against my counter arguments, that's probably indicative of a lack of sound reasoning. Happy posting! 25. Rankings are absolutely relevant and good indicators of a players talent level and potential to contribute in college. I like Phinese too, but you constantly hurt your own arguments by taking such hardline stances against anything or anyone that doesn't completely support your opinions. Also, Garland and Langford are also smart players who know the game and make others around them better. They also happen to be ranked higher than Phinese. Given Garland's height, it's not a guarantee, much like Yogi, that he'll be able to leave for the NBA early. I'd take Phinese in heartbeat, but Garland would be a huge recruiting victory.
