IU vs Gannon Game Thread
Walking Boot of Doom replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Average last year across CBB was 70.7% and this is a drastic improvement over last year. (agree that let's hope it gets even better, but baby steps...) -
Fred Glass Retiring

Nope because until they fail there’s still hope (within reason). At least, that’s how people who aren’t miserable like you, gradman, and Fk can approach things in life. Don’t try to bring everyone to your pity party. The season hasn’t even started - we’re ready to have some fun watching IUBB! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Glad this is what these *expletives* decide to focus on. Maybe we can have another Congressional hearing on baseball and steroids!

The State of the Program
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Aeggie's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Well, UConn should be a win and UofL is performing at the same level as Indiana this year. Let’s see how it plays out, but we should be winning those games. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
2019 Off-Season IU Roster News and Moves
Walking Boot of Doom replied to CrossboneIU22's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
It's probably nothing and there's no reason to risk aggravating even a slight injury for an exhibition. If they start missing actual games we can start to worry. -

Fire or ‘Way to Go!’ Tom Allen?
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Hoosierfan2017's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Remember many on here ripping into Coach Allen after a loss to MSU in East Lansing because of a pregame speech and close loss? Remember when many on here lauded Purdue for “spending money” and “getting serious” by hiring Brohm? Remember when Bob Knight committed a hate crime against folding chairs everywhere? Well you’re gonna love this! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Agreed with this earlier, but also agree with OF’s point. If Penix wants the additional recovery time, give it to him. But if he’s 100% healthy and is ready to play, you’ve got to start him. Somehow finding a way to limit his exposure in a pointless game like NW is important no matter how it happens. Like you said, he’s needed for PSU and Michigan. Thought I read somewhere that the Huskers fans were booing during Indiana injuries? Maybe that led to Fred’s comments? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Hats off to Peyton Ramsey
Walking Boot of Doom replied to Hoosierfan2017's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Agreed. Literally had nothing against him - just always thought Penix was the better QB based on pretty clear available information. Ramsey is real tough and got the job done the last two games. Huge that he stepped up as the backup and got us there. Hope he’s with the team next year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
You’re right it’s not new - seems that it’s been around since Wilson days. Need to clean it up regardless. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
