Not sure if the real music nerds here have seen this yet. I’ve scrolled through it a bit, mostly stuff that isn’t my speed, but it’s got @Demo and @Stuhoo written all over it. Don’t let the tweet fool you, it goes wayyyy more off the beaten path than Nirvana and Phish shows.

I think the line between some random moron with a timeline full of asshattery and a verifiable media member is pretty clear. I can’t believe I have to justify saying “don’t tweet at/DM recruits”.

Yeah that’s not exactly what I want at all. I don’t want people tweeting at recruits. It’s as bad as The Dorks sticking a camera in kids’ faces on visits when they were still allowed to be around.

I think he smoked into the 80s or 90s, but I’m not sure he was hitting most of the notes from the original since the early 70s either way. It won’t happen, but a final Celebration Day reunion show done in this lowkey style would just about put me in the ground.

Had NFL radio on while picking up the kids from school. They had a Raiders media member on the show who was there today. Obviously most of the interview was about Fernando (he had the overthrow to Sarratt between 65-70 air yards and said that Sarratt was visibly shocked at how far he threw that ball) but he said Ponds was the standout. IU media keep mentioning "murmurs" after his 40, but this guy had it more of a buzz. 5 earned himself a big ole heap of money today.
