  1. These teams are CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEX, folks.
  2. That was gonna be a horrible ball even if they were on the same page.
  3. Tide is sawwwwft. Sooners are tough, but not dynamic at all. Our staff would coach circles around Venables and co.
  4. I’m completely fine if I end up looking like an idiot - at least my wife won’t be surprised - but neither of these teams impress me one bit.
  5. I didn’t watch much TCU this year, but I did read somewhere along the way that their system is a bit of chuck it and f*** it style. I don’t know if that helps his case any, but it explains it a bit. I also saw (from Taylor Lehman) that he wasn’t far behind Fernando in passing rate out of RPO this season, so he’s at least somewhat familiar with our RPO-heavy style.
  6. Strange release but really good player. Would love to see what more Cig, Shanny, and Whitmer could get out of him.
  7. He's been floated for P4 OC jobs. Would be a tough ask.
  8. That is awful. The work he did out in the mountains with his helicopter was incredible. Was a heck of a driver in his day too.
  9. Steve Wiltfong, who always seems to have an in at IU, has Oregon, LSU, and IU as the favorites for Leavitt. If Oregon gets Moore to come back and LSU ends up with Lagway... From a 30,000 foot view, the more we're being tied to portal QBs the more I think we take one that will have every opportunity to win the starting job next fall.
  10. Nice. I didn't end up getting any, but didn't really expect to as Varsity Club newbie. No communication which really rubs me the wrong way, but again not surprising coming from that office.
  11. Had him coming in for a visit last year before Fernando committed.
  12. Maryland's stadium is hilarious. I do not recommend standing on that field if you have megalophobia. That side you're talking about is terrifying.
  13. I think we're getting closer and closer to completely blowing up the west side and playing a season (two?) at Lucas Oil. I'm all for it, for the record.
  14. A is tough...those corners are really tight and contain all the entrances to the underbelly of the stadium. Not sure what else we can do there besides upgrade the little bar seating they threw in this year. B is a must. Those "suite" tent things are hideous. Looks like something we would've done during COVID. C would be awesome, but in the meantime I'd love to see a big-ass ribbon board installed above those seats. Kinda like Purdue and MSU have above their endzones opposite their videoboards. Add some on either side of the NEZ castle too. Can never have too many ribbon boards.
  15. I wrote a pretty lengthy message in the "any other comments?" box at the end. Don't know/care if anyone reads it, but it felt good and said more or less the above. I understand the need for more premium/corporate seating and am good with it as long as it doesn't come at the expense of me and all The Poors, but I can see where this is headed.
  16. Posted this halfway through the survey because I was getting excited. The 2nd half of the survey was not nearly exciting and catered entirely to premium/corporate seating. Woof, barf, etc.
  17. There are some really interesting questions in this survey. I understand how surveys work and that the questions don't always necessarily mean anything, but a boy can dream.
  18. Your larger point is fine, but every one of your examples is either something that hasn't improved or really doesn't matter, so sorry for the confusion I guess.
  19. Patting himself on the back for what exactly though? Uniforms: we wear the same combo home and away every game. It’s a clean look, but we’re still down the pecking order with Adidas and our template sucks. Music: LOL, can’t hear s**t in Memorial, PA system sucks, and…what exactly are we looking for here anyway? Concessions: they improved the food selection I guess, but if you aren’t there an hour before kick good luck getting anything without missing an entire quarter. Practice Facility: we lipsticked the pig. Woo! Not a single one of those things has ANYTHING to do with why we’re currently the best team in the country. Self-back-pat is not accepted.
  20. He looked at the concessions, saw a line that runs from the 20 yard line to the goal line and intersects with a 100 yard long bathroom line, and said “eh, think I’ll pass.”
  21. Idk if he's a/the "good" option, but he'd certainly be the "fun" option.
